Chapter 293: Went to meet bastards

Because of the useless talk she had severely with Sam, she didn't eat a single dish from the table. Now when she has to go back, Sam suddenly started eating so much in front of him that, it almost made her drool.

Sam wanted to pass some food to her plate, but Serene's anxiousness made him realize that dinner today is not possible. Putting down his spoon, he asked.

"Miss Serene has to go somewhere?" Serene's eyes immediately looked at him gratefully.

Earlier though she acted disrespectfully a lot, Sam not for once said anything wrong, or even get angry at her. By all this, she can tell that Sam isn't a bad person, and she doesn't want to disrespect him by leaving him in the middle of his dinner.

However, his words immediately bought relief to her heart. "Yes, I need to be somewhere. I am not a person who stands on ceremony with food. It's just, today I am kind of in hurry to go back."
