Chapter 1: Chapter 1. Prologue
I was on vacation in Japan when I saw a little girl around the age of 6 crossing the road following after her mother. She was a little behind and out of reach of her mother when I noticed a truck coming straight towards her at well over 1000Km/h. I instantly rush over. I noticed someone else doing the same thing right next to me, so I pushed him over while I ran towards the girl. And pushed her out of the way without enough time to get myself to safety. As I was getting hit by the truck I could've sworn I heard the guy I pushed earlier say that I stole his chance at reincarnation.
You know what I say to that? Go to hell you shitty protagonist wannabe, IT'S MINE!
Right after thinking that I feel a sharp pain in my ribs as if someone just kicked me. I slightly tilt my head to see who. It was an average looking Japanese teenager with short black and an angry expression yelling at me that I took his chance. Some police officers nearby crashed into him, bringing him to the ground hard. My vision was getting darker as I painfully turned my head the other way to see the little girl I saved, but she was just a blur before I blacked out.
All of my memories flashed before my eyes.
My birth, my early years of being playing too many video games and reading too many webnovels, and the moments leading up to my death. I died at 23, 2 weeks before Christmas when I was supposed to go home.
When they were finally fading I instinctively tried to cry but it wouldn't work. My face just remained calm and collected. This is when I finally realize I'm conscious when I'm supposed to be dead.
'I am dead right?'
?: "You are correct" I hear an oddly familiar voice speak to me
Karnn: "Do I know you?"
?: "I was that little girl you 'saved'. I'm also the goddess of reincarnation. You will be reincarnated into a world of your choosing with a twist. You also get to choose your appearance and that's it. No wishes."
Karnn: "So you killed me..." I whisper
Karnn: "And do you have a name" I say after 5 seconds of silence
I know she heard my whisper but chose to ignore it
?: "My name is Aqua!"
My eyes widen in fright
Karnn: "NO! GET ME ERIS OR SOMEONE ELSE!!!"
Aqua: "That's rude… *Sniff*" She starts crying dramatically
Karnn: "I… I'm sorry..." I say trying to fix my mistake
Damn. I didn't mean to say that out loud. I don't even know if they're the same person…
Aqua: "HAHAHA"
Aqua: "The look on your face was PRICELESS! It never gets old."
I just deadpan.
Karnn: "That wasn't funny"
Aqua: "And what you said wasn't nice. Even if I'm not the same person you were thinking of."
What she says is true but I'm not going to admit it out loud.
Karnn: "You know… I was thinking… You killed me on purpose when I had a future. I think I deserve at least 1 wish." I say with the straightest face I can muster
Aqua: "..."
She just continues to stare in silence at me for a couple of minutes and it's kind of getting awkward
Aqua: "1! And you can't wish for Omnipotence, Omniscience, or Omnipresence"
I jump in joy (Metaphorically as he is currently a soul)
Karnn: "Before I state my wish, the world I will travel, and my looks; do I get to keep my memories?"
Aqua: "Yes" she instantly says without hesitation
Karnn: "I want to be reborn in a AU Harry Potter world." I say which pretty much nullifies her "with a twist" thing even though she will be able to change it to how she pleases
Aqua: "Okay"
Karnn: "I want to look like the Caster version of Gilgamesh from Fate."
Aqua: "Sure"
Karnn: "And for my wish… I wish for all the True Magics from Fate!"
Aqua: "Granted but you don't get the 2nd or 4th true magic" A/N: ("Kaleidoscope" and "I don't know...")
Aqua: "As well as Denial of Nothingness can not create anything of Omnipotence, Omniscience, Omnipresent, Nigh-Omnipotent, Nigh-Omniscience, or Nigh-Omnipresent status."
Karnn: "YES! Thank you for this even if I was somewhat rude to you..." I say sincerely
Karnn: "I guess I'll never see you again as If I die, I'll just disperse thanks to Heaven's Feel."
Aqua: "You might"
Karnn: "How?"
She just smiles and waves her hand at me sending me into what looks like the abyss. It's been a while in this dark place, I'm currently assuming I'm in the womb but I can't be sure.
-9 months later-
I hear painful cries as my head is being pushed out of a womb. I'm going to say it once, this IS SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE! I mean, it feels as if I'm getting dislocated just trying to get out.
AND! I'm FREE!
?: "Aww… Look at him! He looks adorable!"
?: "He certainly does Eve."
{A/N: I'm not really caring about the way they talk.}
Eve: "Give him to me Adam." She says happily
Eve: "I wish Cain, Seth, and Abel were this cute"
'Eve? Adam? Cain? Seth? Abel??'
'Don't tell me… I'm a son of the supposed first humans from Christianity...'
'Shit just got weird'
Out of nowhere a bright white light started emanating from the door as an old man slowly but gracefully walked in. A being I can only assume to be the biblical god.
{A/N: This is not Jesus as that happens like 154 thousand years later. Well… He is but he isn't, if you can understand what I'm saying.}
