Chapter 249: Chapter 249: CORENNA'S REAL IDENTITY!!!!
Brienne did not rest and started searching for the tiniest trace that could lead to Corenna's current place, and she did not stop until she found someone that told Brienne Corenna's destination. Brienne spent two days without sleeping for even a second. If she found Corenna in this state, how was she going to kill that bitch?
In the end, Wilyam persuaded the Kingsguard to climb his dragon's back where she could rest. He would take her to her destination like that. In the end, Brienne agreed after Wilyam threatened her by telling her that was an order.
Wilyam followed Corenna's traces from a town to another until they finally found her and her group near The Whispers. The fucking bitch that killed her princess intended to take one of Edward's commercial ships and leave Westeros and Essos for good. Unfortunately for her, Brienne and her group managed to catch up with her after another two days.
Outside the old castle,
Two groups were facing each other. On the right stood Brienne and the group from Dorne while Wilyam and Arya sat on Wilyam's dragon. On the left stood Corenna Swann and another two Princessguards with another ten men.
Corenna, who thought that she had the chance to leave Westeros before anyone could catch her, had a severe expression on her face. She was afraid at the moment, especially after seeing Wilyam and his dragon. She did not think that Wilyam would come after her with his dragon.
As for Brienne, she did not say anything before taking out her sword. Her heart was shouting at her mind asking her to kill that fucking bitch that killed the princess and made the king fell into madness. She pushed herself to the maximum to stop herself from killing that bitch right away because she needed to know.
"Why did you do it? Why did you betray our King, Corenna?" Asked Brienne in an angry tone as she still could not believe that the one who was her idol one day turned into the traitor that could have destroyed the empire.
After hearing this question, Corenna smirked at Brienne. Although she was afraid that she would die here, she hated the woman standing in front of her and wanted to rip her apart. Brienne still had the guts to come and stand in front of her after she took her dream.
"Who is Corenna?" Asked Corenna with a smile of mockery on her face. She started showing her true self. Since she thought this place might be her grave, she intended to reveal everything and let everyone know how they were idiots while she was the smartest one. Even the king himself did not know that she was a fake.
"What do you mean?" Asked Brienne with a confused and angry look on her face. She was not a cunning person and did not figure out what the woman was trying to say.
"Heh, you are an idiot as always. I always wondered how you managed to become a Kingsguard and the captain at that when your head filled with only air." Said Corenna with a smirk on her face as she looked at everyone in the other group as if they were idiots that she played with for years.
"You want to know the truth? Fine, I will tell you. The real Corenna Swann died when she was only seven with her parents. Corenna was only a branch family from House Swann, and they were living in a far place." Said Corenna as the smile did not leave her face. And she looked at Wilyam this time with a smirk. She had prepared to die a long ago, and her hate did not leave her eyes.
"My name is Lyle Crakehall. And your king, the fucking Stormking, killed my father when he went on a rampage in King's Landing during the rebellion. When I heard about my dear father's death, I swore to take revenge." Said Lyle-Corenna with hate in her eyes as she said those words. Her expression changed as she started remembering how her mother died shortly after knowing about her father's death.
In the end, Corenna was left alone in this world. Fortunately for her, her parents did not let anyone know about her. Her father did not let anyone know about her since he wanted her to enjoy her childhood. That was why Edward did not find about her existence after searching for background.
"After that, I met queen, Cersei, who was also seeking vengeance against your king. And with her help, we killed the real Corenna Swann and her parents. They should have died long ago because they lived away from their family with everyone that knows her face. We used my face that looked younger than my age. I managed to convince Lord Swann and his House that we got attacked by bandits, and I was the only one that stayed alive." Said Corenna with a smile after remembering how they prepared everything to take down Edward and his family.
"And you know the rest of the story. With my new identity, someone as strong as the Stormking, the most powerful man in the world, could not discover anything about my past. But I had to tell you the truth. After seeing how he treated me and trained me all this time, I fell for him and started having feelings for the king. At that time, I dismissed my plans with Cersei and decided to become his Kingsguard to get closer to him." Said Lyle-Corenna with a hurt expression as if she remembered those days when she loved the king and forgot all those feelings that she had for him.
"But everything got destroyed with your appearance. The king ignored me and paid all his attention to you instead of me, the one who forgot that he killed her father and loved her enemy. I fought myself for three years trying to get his attention back from you who became a Kingsguard at that time instead of me." Said Corenna with hatred in her eyes as she looked at Brienne, whose expression changed. She did not expect that she was the reason that today's situation was because of her appearance.
"When I saw that Edward still paid no attention for me but started looking at you with love in his eyes, I could not tolerate it anymore. I would not let you have Edward for yourself, fucking bitch. If I could not have Edward for myself, then no one would have him. When I heard his talk with Prince Stannis, I know what to do and started contacting the queen again." Said Lyle-Corenna with a crazy look on her face. Everyone could tell that she was mad and her mind was no longer there. She was laughing like an idiot without realizing the situation she was in at this point.
Tears started appearing in Brienne's eyes after hearing that Edward had feelings for her, and she herself did not realize it while the enemy did. She could not believe it. Brienne could not believe all this. She was the reason behind what happened to Edward, the man she respected and loved secretly a long time ago.
"Yeah, cry, bitch. I will destroy everything you have because you took what is mine." Said Lyle as she laughed out loud, finally losing it at this point.
Wilyam, who heard everything Corenna said from the top of his dragon, wanted to rip her apart because she killed his twin because of something between her and Brienne. But when he heard that his father had feelings for Brienne and saw how Brienne reacted, he decided to let Brienne kill that woman. In the end, he would not have his sister back, even if he killed Corenna with his own hands.
Plus, Corenna turned mad because of jealousy, and she would not feel anything, even if he tortured her. In the end, Wilyam looked down at Brienne, whose sword was shaking after hearing all this, and spoke loudly.
"Lady Brienne, kill her slowly make her regret killing my sister." Said Wilyam with an emotionless look on his face. By saying those words, he was encouraging Brienne to fight Lyle and not to blame herself.
Wilyam decided to leave this fucking shit place after this accident. He planned to leave Westeros for good and find a land west of Westeros with his wife, Arya.
