While testing a new game he is transported to a new world know as the Verdant Realm. It is filled with Gods and Goddesses, Elves, Dwarves, High-humans known Aesir, Vanir and Barbarians, Animals, Dragons, and more.
However, the world is not what it seems, and a foretold cataclysm may yet destroy it before he's strong enough to save it.

The backdrop of this fantasy world is both beautiful and harsh.
The Prime Races escaped Midgard just before a global cataclysm at the height of their Age of Science, Sorcery, and Pagan Religion. of their pagan religious culture. Within there side-slip dimension called the Green Realm, Verdant Realm, or the Garden. They grew side-by-side with mankind on Midgard until present day. 5000 years later their culture is steeped in pagan traditions that have led to prostitution being sanctioned and promoted by various churches, and very open and even incestuous life-styles. The ratio of monogamous to polygomist relationships is about 50/50. Harems and reverse harems are equally commonplace.
Given the very limited animal resorces they brought with them they used science and magic to splice every animal species with Alari, Dvergr, or Giant DNA creating hybrids named the Animals, Insects, and various marine life. Later they spliced certain tree’s DNA into Alfari thereby creating the Arboreals.
Even in a fantasy there is oppression, racism, religious anamosity, political corruption, and corporate greed. In the Garden Realm the fantastic is everywhere, and sometimes it’s hard to live but brutally easy to die.

I have mixed feelings about this. From an objective point of view, the novel is perfect. Good grammar, mildly fleshed out characters, decent world development, stable updates though relatively new. However, his mother and sister (eventual harem members) are basically prostitutes. They are priestesses that serve people for "contributions"(money). So it feels like a netorare story. I'm fine with netori(stealing) but not netorare (getting cucked) So good luck author, but I'm out.

Pinkender, congratulations. I haven’t enjoyed a fantasy story since I read Lord of the Rings some 30 yeras ago (obviously taking into consideration the difference in the spicyness of the stories). But what makes me enjoy both is the good story telling and character development, and you are doing a great job at that. It looks as if you are creating a saga (Viridian Vale Saga?), and I look forward to your next chapter.

Now that I know the MC doesn't get ccked, I can say I really love this book. it's not really a flaw per se but you spend too much time on character development, 40 percent of the book is about backstories of characters that I wish you could have just given a summary.
My unbiased review: The book is really well written and is an interesting read but I still can't get over how open their culture is especially the priestesses of selene that are practically whres. I'm at chapter 9 and I hope the MC doesn't get ccked

Good story, like the characters and world. The only problem I have is that the ... cultured scenes... aren't as descriptive or as arousing as I like, but none the less still good.
The Story(Novel) is amazing and I'd like to ask you to please continue it I have no complaints so far cause overall everything about it is amazing.
****Spoiler alert **** I love what you do with your characters and how you writing makes me want to read your stories angain and again. My only complaint is that you are shifting tge perspectives without any disclaimers of what/who are we supposed to assume the perspective of. I would also know the background of the characters as they seem so much more then what the appear to be like, how summerset, the supposed rapist turned into the good noble all respect deeply, how glenna and summerset 1st met and how they fell for each other, how Ana who did not have the interest of marriage between Glenna and summerset - to - how both became sister wives and so and why not make a sub-series and flesh them out. And all the best for the future projects ( can't wait to experience tgem).

well, here is my comment, please do not be offended by this: the novel has a good writing, heck, that's something difficult to find here in webnovel, the development of the story is good and interesting, also if you like animal girls it will be to your liking, but like any story, this one has something bad (at least for me), the religion professed by their mother and sister makes them prostitutes who let themselves be ****ed for money so that the "beneficiaries" are drunk by the goddess through them (they are called priestesses) they even go as far as get pregnant and they don't care (that's how the MC's sisters were born) and no matter how much you justify with any nonsense that this is their religion or their customs, if the MC said that they will be part of his harem, I think it will give you a bad taste in your mouth if you came for the wincest tag, so I wish you luck author, but I'm out
