Chapter 13: The Ritual
I entered the manor and well two words came to mind. Dark and gloomy. As soon as i entered i heard a shrill voice, which i never wanted to hear.
"WHOSE THERE? HOW DARE YOU ENTER INTO THE MOST NOBLE AND ACIENT BLACK MANOR, YOU FILTHY ANIMAL."
I looked at the portrait and sighed. She was the cause of my father's death. She pushed him to join the dark lord and well he got sucked. I already knew how to deal with her.
"Hello grandmother! It is nice to see you."
She immediately started shouting.
"HOW DARE YOU CALL ME GRANDMOTHER. I ALREADY BANISHED THAT SON OF MINE. NO CHILD OF SIRIUS HAS A CLAIM HERE."
I was amazed by her viciousness but it wasn't directed at me so don't care,
" You are mistaken, I am the son of Regulus arcturus black. My mother died during child birth and i am the heir to the noble house of balck."
She was startled, and seemed happy.
"Oh my dear Regulus! He died for such a noble cause. Come here let grandmother have a look."
I came near with a perfect smile plastered on my face. After some small talk i excused myself and called kreacher.
"Young master, kreacher is here to serve."
He was old and somewhat demented but i will have to make do for now. I first ordered.
"Kindly take my grandmother's portrait to the basement and put it in the storage there. Also take up the portarait of my greagreat grand father phineas nigellus black too."
He was surprised but i had ordered so he had to listen, with that out of the way. Dumbledore cant spy on me now. And i had a whole library full
of information on rituals.

It took a week to get settled, clean up a room and getting started on the ritual. I didn't need to perform one for black lineage as it was done by the ring so now i only had to perform one for LeFay lineage. This was good because it was extremely complex.
But one good thing was that ritual magic was based on mathematics and well in my world math was far more advanced. So i could understand it. The LeFey house was always famous as a dark magic house but it could not be further from the truth. Morgana specialised in Holy magic but the magic was so strong that it corrupted her soul and she devised such a ritual. A ritual that balances the soul instead of adding or taking from it.
Reading from all these books, i was quite surprised. I knew that there was propaganda in the potter verse but this was out of the world. Were all the wizards mentally retarded because none could bring themselves to do a bit of research. I had discovered all this within a couple of weeks and i was not even trying.
The ritual was quite complex, but there was one good thing. For me i only needed very few materials, nectar of prometheus and a dragon's eye.
Though these materials were were expensive, money was not a problem. I had 8000G in the trust vault and 1500G of my own. I had to spent 7500G to get all the required materials because except these 3 rest were all present in the pouch i stole from voldy.
I chose the night with full moon as mentioned in the book and started making preparations. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and i had to double check everything to make it count.
