This is a story about a kidnapping, a knight with a Maserati instead of a horse, a girl who tries to find her best friend but stumbles on her journey, and falls in love.
It's a story about a man, who's in desperate need to find his sister, and in desperate need to punish the man who took her away from him. It's a tragedy, a lovestory and everything in between.
Cause sometimes love is the thing that saves us. It can be our rescue, when we seem to be entering darker times, and it can be used as a light, to guide us through the night.
But just as love can be our savior, it can also be our enemy, and the thing who, in the end, kills us.
Promises were made, not to fall in love. Could they break that promise, even if it would cost them their lives?

This is seriously one of the best book I've ever read. 😅 I can't detect a single flaw in the pace. Its cohesion amazes me, like, wow, this author has talents! I can sympathize with what the character is going through, I can vividly see the world from her perspective, I can understand why she becomes who she is now, seriously, you have the touch that could evoke the feelings from your readers that can make them feel what your character is going through. And that's so amazing! Hats raised to you author! Splendid job on this book. Keep up the good work! Hope you keep updating for more!
Okay, I’ll try to make this as quick as I can. I’m not done with the book yet. This is splendid. I honestly have a hard time believing this is the author’s first book. The book is spotlessly and flawlessly written with so much emotions portrayed in it. I’m completely and crazily in love with the female lead. She’s so strong with an outstanding personality. I personally love mafia romance and if I should even try to compare this with any of the books I’ve read, the difference is clear. The male lead, whew... I won’t stop writing if I start. I love this masterpiece , a job well done, author. You’ll definitely be seeing more of me here, cause I’m coming back to review. Thanks so much, author for sharing this masterpiece with us and I’ll highly recommend this to everyone. You won’t regret you gave it a chance.
Here is my honest review. The female lead of this story is definitely someone you are going to love. Adrena has an admirable personality. The fact that she can think for herself and has this mem* Oops! No spoilers, read up to find out what I was about to say. Back to my initial comment, she is a mentally attractive woman and one of the FLs I've fallen deeply in love it, how she thinks, how she talks, how she does everything that she does. She's just my kinda girl. ❤❤ Don't even get me started on the ML, I think I might have a crush on him already. I know I can be that shameless😂😂 This book is highly recommended, not just because I am saying it. Read it and you'll see. Let's push this one to the top where it deserves to be alrighty? 😘😘😘

Ive read about half the book so far, and it’s really good. You said that english is not your first language, but I wouldn’t have guessed that unless you said it. Your writing is some of the best i’ve seen. You’re able to express emotion and complex thoughts easily, and it makes it easier to understand the characters thoughts and feelings. The story is very unique. A lot of stories on this app are just retellings of the smae story, but I dont think i’ve read anything quite like this before. You have a new fan. Keep up the good work.
i love this! especially the little ''notes'' that the female lead is writing in the beginning of her chapters - so different and original! the author is so talented and the writing skills are superb. the story is so exciting to read, especially because it's so different from the other romance novels i've read about mafias. the characters are so amazing and the story build is exquisite! much love from America <3 where is the author from?

What a beautiful book! Everything in this book is wonderful! The way the author described the settings and wrote the dialogues are truly talented. The writings are neat and clear without a single mistake. I also love the way the author re-tell Adam and Eve's story. It's so smart and interesting. Five stars are not enough for this book, but I just have five stars to reward the brilliant author ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Forbidden Fruit is a well-written story that immensely appeals to people who like romance, mafia and non-braindead characters. I haven't seen any noticeable flaws as per the writing and such. The character design is great and boosted by the author's take on perspective and POV which allow us to understand and deeply relate to the main characters. As for the world, it's a modern setting with underground society elements and seems compelling and interesting so far. Keep up the great work, author. Given it a read, everyone!
Author, you're great for writing this book. Descriptive words is enough for your readers to be hooked in. Your cover is cool to be noticed too! And I like the prologue too!

I am going to be very honest here, I have read a of of books. Some from very big authors, some from not so well known authors. I often find some very well written novels on webnovel that are written better than those big writers, and this is one of them. The world building, the character, their characteristics, their dialogues, pretty much everything great beyond explanation. This is the kind of story that intrigues me the most. Never have I been so invested in reading as I am on this novel. And the humor is in point and the parallel it creates are also very good. A special shoutout to the writer for such a great work. Please continue the good work ;))
I'll have to admit that, when I read the prologue and found out this author was ESL, my expectations weren't too high. Surprisingly, though, the story was quite well written. everything else aside, I found myself not needing to play localization expert for long. aside from mistaking new jersey from an NYC burrough, her stuff is super accurate. case in point, I had thought the whole 'fancy nightclub in a warehouse' was total bunk. I thus went to my dad, who lived and worked in the NYC area when I was a kid; not even a full sentence into explaining the premise, though, I found out this was a totally real thing which I imagine only fellow new yorkers would readily know off hand. And if that wasn't crazy enough, after the pov switched at chapter 6 I think, I found no more localization errors. you can tell this author has put tremendous work here to make an engaging experience. the saying may be 'write what you know,' but for the author here I feel it really doesn't apply. Oh my god. This is one of the best books I have ever read! Like seriously, I really like the way you write, the way the plot flows so easily. I have never read anything related to mafia or some sort, but this book surely made me become more intrigued about the life of a mafia. The suspense, the humor, everything is perfect. And not to mention, the two main leads are absolutely wonderful. I have no other choice but to like them!! This book is honestly going to be one of the best book out there! Trust me! You don't even need to think twice before reading it. I am definitely keeping this one in my library! Keep on writing, author! I'm rooting for you.
Oh my goodness! The quality of this writing is to die for. Please, dear author, teach me your skills. The constant foreshadowing of biblical verses, adam and eve etc, give this book a really unusual but appealing quality, and the writer does a fantastic job of sustaining mystery and tension throughout. And dear gods, the tension and drama is high! Wow! The main character is beautifully written. Well crafted, strong, but also has many flaws which make her seem entirely human. She makes bad decisions, mistakes, and that really adds to the charm. I love the dual perspective of this book too! The shift in narrative adds a huge amount of depth to the story and the world building elements. Honestly I am blown away by how amazing this is. Fantastic work!
