Chapter 26: Nightly Shenanigans[First Draft]
Lately, Ryuu Lyon has been sneaking out every night. Syr thought. Ever since that bastard came to meet Ryuu, she had become more haggard and restless. One night, she asked someone to follow her. Only to find out she had been in a fight with a couple of thugs she had interrogated. The thugs were in bad shape, Ryuu must've been taking out her stress on them. Thankfully no one was killed. Of course, Syr also had a little talk with the thugs to find out what's Ryuu up to. It seems she's looking for missing girls.
But tonight is different, Ryuu had a secret talk with Mama Mia, Syr can't allow that! So she and the other maids eavesdropped on the conversation. Ryuu talked about getting time off and going out tonight and might not return until the next day. Syr Flova could only chew her fingernails in exasperation. Mama Mia was angry but helpless, Ryuu could only look down in shame as she prepares to leave the Hostess.
"I run out of time! It's too late to regret it now..."
Her side is still investigating the kidnapping cases. The more they dig, the deeper the pit gets, for now, she still couldn't see the bottom of it. So many people in high places are being implicated all at once. Just how did the [Black Emperor] and the god known as [The Joker] investigate this swamp of poison? They must have a big familia backing them. Soma Familia doesn't even have the capabilities to handle such a large investigation let alone an unknown god hiding his identity. That leaves Loki or Hermes... But they have been quiet lately. Loki and Hephaestus seem busy on a "new weapon concept" lately, she doesn't have the time to invest on that side. Not when she's in a pinch.
"What kind of god hides his identity in a pseudonym? Doesn't he have the pride of gods?"
This weird god and secret familia are certainly up to no good. That's why! Syr must follow the fool known as Lyon! She doesn't know what evil plans she gets dragged into! To take care of her and let this secret organization know that Ryuu Lyon is free from her past and starting anew! And make sure this [Black Emperor] stays away from Lyon!"
*step step step*
Ryuu Lyon came out of her. Fully geared in equipment hidden beneath her robe. The girls give her a look but went back to working pretending to not know anything.
"Lyon~ where are you going~?" Syr
Lyon only nodded at Syr and ignored her question. As Lyon was about to leave, she stopped on her track and stared at Mama Mia. Who in turn only sighed and dismiss her with a flick of her hand. Ryuu Lyon then left.
Seeing Ryuu Lyon leave, Syr also stared at Mama Mia. Syr winked at, Mama Mia smiled and gave her a thumbs up.
Syr left for Ryuu Lyon. As she leaves she heard some crunching bones sound.
"Oi! Where do you think you're going!?"
"Nya!? Why can they both have fun nya!? Why not me too!?"
It was Anya being dragged deeper into the Hostess.

Ryuu Lyon walks gracefully under the cover of the night. She's heading to the location marked on the map given by [Black Emperor]. In truth, she didn't want to be associated with the suspicious man. But after some investigating, she realized that she can't get into the Grand Casino without a special invitation.
Not only that, her mind is a mess. She feels like she's balancing on a thin rope and at any moment she can fall into madness again. She can only think of what Syr Flova, her savior would think.
Not long ago, the Guild announce her death. Clearly to cover for her. But what she's going to do next... She could only say sorry to her secret benefactor.
She mull over who could be helping her around the guild, maybe it was [Black Emperor]? The timing was right after their meeting anyway, but he said he doesn't work for the guild some higher-ups are connected to him.
Lyon finally reached her destination, not too far from her she could see six figures standing above a ruined wall and another man sitting on the ledge. As she gets closer she could clearly see them. The six-robed figures with no identifiable features other than weapons they all wear the same white robe with golden embroidery and white mask. On their chest an iconograph of a snake with a lion's head.
she's never seen a logo, she'll research it later if there's time.
Meanwhile, the figure in the center start waving at her, he was wearing a black-furred coat and a white mask that reflects the moonlight. Lyon closes the distance just enough so they can hear each other.
"Yo, partner. How are you? Doing good I hope. Heard the guild cut you loose."
It turns out to be the [Black Emperor]. Ryuu Lyon looked at him, he feels different somehow, she can't feel the kingly presence he exudes back then. Is he hinting at something about the guild decision?
"I'm here. Are you sure you people aren't working for Evilus? You do dress alike, only the colors are different."
Ryuu Lyon said nonchalantly. Testing the waters.
"Ahhh... Your word hurt us, partner! Anyway since you've come, it means you're in?"
Ryuu Lyon started getting irritated, [Black Emperor] seems to be a man of theatrics. There is plenty of people like him in Orario, all up to no good. Ryuu on the other hand is straightforward and doesn't like mincing words. Ryuu merely nodded in irritation.
"Well, before we start a business, why don't you invite your friend over?"
"Friend? What friend?"
[Black Emperor] signaled with his hand and a robed came to his side, they whispered at each other, and the robed man then went back and whispered something to the bigger robed man. Who then promptly went down and started walking towards her.
Ryuu expecting an attack readied herself for battle. It won't e the first she will be outnumbered in a fight. In fact, her odds are much better now. But to her relief, the giant-robed man simply passes her. She followed the giant with her eyes as he went into the bushes. Then she heard a familiar voice.
"Kyaa!!! Put me down you brute!"
The giant man emerges from the bushes
carrying a struggling girl like a sack of potatoes. The girl was wearing the uniform of Hostess of Fertility.
"Kyaaa! Save me, Lyon! Put me down you fool!"
"Syr!"
Ryuu Lyon was shocked, did she follow her? Just as Ryuu was about to lash out. The Giant put Syr gently down next to her, even patting her head.
"Little girls shouldn't come outside at dis hour. Ya git."
The Giant went back to the top of the wall
"Syr... You shouldn't have followed me... it's dangerous out here!"
"I know... But Lyon, I was worried about you...and..."
Syr Flova then looked at the group above the wall.
"Haven't we met before? I knew you were up to no good!"
"Oh! If it isn't that clingy waitress from the hostess that totally had the hots for me! How are you?"
A vein popped on Syr's forehead
"I'll have you know! Lyon is free now! Whoever you are, you better stay away from her! or else!"
Syr announced, Lyon only sighed. Although she is happy her friend is here for her and worried, she's also a bit troublesome.
"ahaha....ahahahaha....ahahahahah!"

The man in the center laughs first, followed by the others. The atmosphere became tense.
"Or else what?"
A strong killing intent emanates from the robed group.
"I know a familia nearby, that would like a piece of you!" Syr Flova resolutely said.
"Hmph! Relax, we aren't here to hurt anyone, your friend and we have a business."
"Hoh~ business you say? I wonder what evil conspiracy are you weird people up to?"
"We're going to swindle El Dorado Grand Casino and maybe save some missing girls along the way."
"Hmph! I knew it, they wouldn't tell- what!?"
Syr was surprised, she was sure he won't share his plans with her at all.
"We do a little swindling and a bit of saving. Are you interested in joining? The more the merrier."
Said Judas nonchalantly.
"Hmmmm...Back then you said your name was Judas, was it? But I asked around... Your true name is Lupin Hood."
Syr asked trying to probe.
"Oh? Do you know my actual name? Judas is just a pseudonym don't worry about it. hehe."
Another vein popped on her forehead...This bastard is playing with her again.
"Well, are you going to join us "Syr Flova"?"
Judas emphasized it.
"Fine! But not for you! But for Lyon!"
"Syr! You can't! It's dangerous! I'll send you back to the hostess..."
"Nuh-uh! I wanna make sure you're fine, and don't let these clowns take advantage of you...plus, you'll protect me right Lyon?"
"Ugh...Fine."
*Clap clap*
**clap clap**
Judas clapped his hand and the others followed suit.
"I'm glad we can agree on something. Now... Gale Wind? What the hell are you wearing? Are you planning to massacre your way into the Casino? This won't do. Help them get dressed appropriately. I'll handle the disguise."
""Huh!?""
"Don't worry girls, we'll take care of you."
"Sss... Please follow us Sss..."
Among the robe figures, two turned out to be girls.

About Ryuu Lyon being level 5, sorry, I thought she was level 5, I don't remember why thought she was level 5. must have read a fanfic somewhere where she was level 5.
