Chapter 4: Chapter Four
"I guess I did hit my head pretty hard," Xue Liqin mumbled as she tugged the pleated skirt, "I'm even hallucinating now."
Li Qiang wanted to say something more to Mo Liling; however, she stopped when she saw her brother coming towards them.
"Little Qi'er, it's close to the end of school; we better be heading off now," Li Hu spoke, not bothering to look at his stepsister who had been dealt with.
Li Qiang sensibly nodded, completely transforming from the previous bully to a shy and innocent young maiden.
Li Hu went up to his sister before stroking her head and glared at the other girls standing around them, "you all better keep your mouth shut about what happened today."
The other female students hurriedly nodded their heads, bidding farewell to Li Qiang before hurrying away towards the school front gate.
Li Hu turned around and looked at his stepsister before arrogantly saying, "and you better keep your mouth shut too, understood?"
Sensing that this stinky little fish was speaking to her, Xue Liqin looked up before slowly nodding.
Li Hu was silent when he saw the vicious pair of red and blue palm prints on his stepsister's face but didn't say anything.
Yeah, don't worry, I'll keep my mouth shut; she's saving mouth energy so she could verbally assault the bastard who changed her clothes later.
Li Hu seemed happy about her prudent actions before turning towards his little sister, looking distressed at the red palm print on her face before ushering her away towards the school gate, completely ignoring his stepsister, who was standing still.
Her cheeks were stinging as Xue Liqin rubbed her chin while looking at the two little bastards who were rushing away.
So you finished bullying and now wiping your a**** clean without taking responsibilities?
Her heart was big, and she'll forgive them.
Thinking for a bit, Xue Liqin turned around and headed off back towards the infirmary, wanting to find out where her clothes and stuff were.
Bai Boqin was cleaning up, preparing to head home.
However, he didn't expect the student who got dragged out to came back again, this time with two obvious bruised handprints on her face.
"School Doctor Bai, do you know where my stuff is and can you tell me who changed me into this school uniform?" Before he could even speak, the female student had already asked.
Bai Boqin: ???
He didn't know whether she was serious or not, but seeing her expression, he figured this student probably sustained a light concussion, "student, is your face alright?"
Seeing the vicious purple mark on her face, he gulped; how hard was she slapped to get it that purple?
"It's fine," Xue Liqin subconsciously answered.
Bai Boqin nodded, "student, as for your question, I haven't a clue who put your school uniform on you," I hope it was you, "and your items should be in your classroom. The male student only bought you here and nothing else."
Bai Boqin gave her a gentle and reassuring smile before carefully approaching her as if afraid he'd scare her away.
Xue Liqin gave the man a standard business smile, "School Doctor Bai, why would my stuff be in a classroom?"
"Because you fainted in your classroom?" Bai Boqin was starting to doubt life as he spoke to this female student.
Xue Liqin: no, I had a car crash on a motorway, not in a classroom.
Come on; it was nearly the end of the day; why is this female student here to make trouble?
Did she hit her head that hard?
Thinking about that, Bai Boqin suggested, "student, how about you head off to the teacher's staff room and ask your homeroom teacher to make a call home and get them to send you to the hospital?"
Xue Liqin: Why the f*** would I need to call home to go to the hospital?
No, why would she need to ask her homeroom teacher to call home? All her teachers were either cremated or retired already.
Xue Liqin took a deep breath before trying a different approach, "School Doctor Bai, can you please lend me your phone?"
Seeing the stubborn teenager, Bai Boqin sighed before pulling out his cellphone, unlocked it and gave it to her.
Anyways, as long as it doesn't agitate this student any more than alls well.
Xue Liqin hurridly keyed in a number before pressing the dial.
Toot. Toot. Toot.
"The number you have dialled does not exist. Please key in the correct number."
Xue Liqin was confused before trying the number again; this time, she carefully keyed in the number.
The same message sounded again.
Xue Liqin felt a second of blankness; that was her office number! How did it not exist?
She keyed in a different number, and the same message appeared again.
Bai Boqin took a glance when she put the numbers in; he didn't want to say anything, but seeing her lost expression, he couldn't help but remark, "student, maybe you forgot, but you shouldn't start the number with 0, phone numbers in the country start with 1."
Xue Liqin wanted to express: Not it China it doesn't!
Xue Liqin looked over at this pretty man carefully; seeing that his expression was serious, she couldn't help but open her mouth to ask, "what country are we in?"
"China."
"What province?"
"Yin Ye Province."
"Where the f*** is Yin Ye Province?!"
Are we in China that she knows?!
Bai Boqin coughed before grabbing back his phone from this crazy student, "student; I suggest you hurry off to the hospital," you can't even remember the province you're in, and you look no younger than sixteen, aren't you ashamed of yourself?
Xue Liqin gave off a harsh laugh as she speechlessly pointed at the school doctor before she pointed at herself.
In the end, she threw her hands in the air, defeated.
Was she dreaming?
There was no way she was dreaming.
No, she had a car crash, and maybe now she's in a coma.
Were dreams supposed to be realistic during a coma?
She could smell the disinfectant in the room, could feel the pain in her cheeks; hell, she could even feel the heat of the sun on her.
Bai Boqin looked at the crazed student before he thought of an idea.
He opened up the camera app on his phone before flipping it to front-facing and putting it in front of the student's face.
"You-" do recognise yourself, right?
"Who the f*** is this?!" The female student shrieked as she grabbed hold of the phone.
Bai Boqin's lips twitched; I guess she did hit her head pretty bad.
