Chapter 28: Purchasing An Item

"You have only one item on you?" Alvian asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah. Can't let nobody snoop around be cause of my equipment. Better to keep a low profile you know." Berlin shrugged as he replied.

Alvian nodded and the proceeded to answer Berlin's question after some careful consideration. "Another Traveller invaded my first World."

Berlin step paused for a split second and then he continued as though what had happened was only an illusion. But Alvian's perception was way above an ordinary humans and he immediately noticed the changes in Berlin's footsteps.

"Oh, then that traveler must have gotten a return to origin card. What happened after?" Berlin asked casually.

"I have no idea. My main mission changed, making it very simple and after I completed the main mission, I was brought back to the Void Realm." Alvian explained and weirdly, it looked as though he had dropped his guard against Berlin and was more active with him now.

Berlin slowly nodded his head. And then he laughed as he said. "Hehe, that traveler must have gotten a few goodies from that world. Do you know his name? Or can you remember his face?" Berlin pressed.

Alvian frowned as though he was thinking quite hard, he then sadly shook his head. "Not really, but when I do remember, I will make sure to inform you first."

Switching the topic, Alvian asked. "Do you know how else one increases his strength apart from using equipments and evolution points?"

Berlin glanced at Alvian strangely but he replied. "Within the Void Realm, there are lots of ways to increase your attributes. Like magic potions, Strengthening serums, inscribing runes, the gym, body strengthening techniques, Magic manuals, Body modification. They endless ways of increasing your attributes here you just have to find the ones suitable for you."

Berlin explained to him, gesturing as they walked.

Alvian listened carefully, after which, he asked. "I didn't see those things at the system's shop."

"That's because somethings are hard to find within the systems shop. There are lots of things in the system's shop. If you want to find something you just have to be specific and dig a little harder to find them. And moreover, anything that permanently increases one's attributes worth a lot of basic points and skill points in exchange for them."

"And although they work really well, I'd advice you to go for the Body Enhancement pod. It's more of the Void Realm compensation or help to we travlers and its cheap, all-rounded, but the disadvantage is that it enhances one's attribute the longer you stay."

"Search for it within the shopping search page, you will find it." Berlin concluded, refusing to talk more about the matter, after which he pointed at a particularly tall large luxurious Skyscraper a that seem to be made entirely out of diamond instead of glass.

"See that building over there?"

"That's where other travelers go to have fun, play with the ladies, find information, make deals and exchange for equipments. It's more cheaper dealing with other travelers but although it's cheap, it's not in anyway secure as you might be scammed. It happens almost everyday." Berlin smiled.

"Do you what to check it out?" He finally asked after his introduction

Alvian glanced at the luxurious building not too far away from him. He could see several people walking in and out of the building either in a hurry, with fun-filled expressions and other hidden expressions.

Since he was already here, it wouldn't hurt to check out the place but then, if he wanted to do something, he would do it at his own time and will.

His pondering expression instantly switched to indifference, like flipping a switch and he turned sideways, facing Berlin with his cold emotionless eyes. "You were very informative. I have to go now."

Without waiting for Berlin's reply, he turned around to leave. He had already gotten the information he wanted from Berlin's mouth, the rest he could figure out on his own.

Berlin was stunned for several seconds and then he came to. Chuckling slightly upon watching Alvian's retreating figure. "What a strange guy."

There was a deep coldness hidden within his eyes even as he said this words. "A return to origin card uhn?"

Using the code 13248, Alvian entered back into his rrom after making sure there was no one tailing him. Checking the amount of points he had.

He didn't want to utilise his skill points until he finds something really worth using it for. But as for now, he held in to it.

Clicking on the holographic image, Alvian ignored the tempting list of items listed below and directly went to the search page.

He needed something to bind the Void Realm's imprint to for easy access instead of using the phone.

According to Berlin, most travelers bind the imprint to a watch bought from the shop so they could easily access their attributes and missions when going to other worlds.

Although it was a smart idea, but to Alvian, it wasn't smart enough. Typing on the search bar, he search for contact lenses.

In less than half a second, the hologram switched revealing different types of eye lenses available within the shop with a price ranging from 10 basic points to 1 million basic points.

Alvian was stunned speechless. He couldn't Imagine how an ordinary eye contact lens could cost that much. Except if they weren't ordinary.

Alvian blinked his eyes and then continued scrolling down to other eye contact lenses and a feverish excitement overcame him as he saw one that really interested him.
