CHAPTER FIFTY

Chike's eyes slowly opened and he blinked severally to refocus his gaze. His surrounding looked strange and his brain found it hard to convince him on why he was in a shabby looking place. And so, the only alternative he could come to terms with was that they had found him.

Chike tried to remember the last thing he saw before everything became pitch black. He was in a park, maybe an animal park...and he was with.....Jason!

Chike's instinct kicked in, if he had been captured then his friend was in trouble and he would fight to death to free him. He jerked up reflectively and in a panic mode. 

The first weapon in sight was an iron spoon and it was all he needed but Chike thought it was awfully dumb of his captors to leave such an obvious weapon in his sight and why was he unchained?
