Chapter 43: Blaming Oneself

Staring out into the capital, I let out a deep sigh. It's been a week since she's disappeared, and that week brought havoc. Father sent his best knights to find her, and they came out empty-handed, except a corpse of one of the pirates.

She didn't have anything on her, she even left her phone at her estate, so there was no way we could track her. It pointless, especially if the pirates got her. It was noticeable that it was her that killed the man, in the clear wound, it had her small blade protruding his chest.

"How many times do I have to tell you that there is nothing new, Prince Raymond?" I glared at the boy who slammed open the door to my office, taking a seat in one of the leather chairs.
