Chapter 10: My first Vacation with Him!
"Good Morning." His handsome face greeted me when I opened the door. As usual, There's a smile plastered on his face that was weirdly making my whole day complete.
"You're too early." I looked down to his luggage and narrowed my eyes when I look at him back. "And why are you bringing that? You're also having a Vacation?" My brows arched.
I didn, 't really heard he's having a vacation too. Oh well, Do I even have to know that? It's not as if we're even close!
"Yeah, I'm going with you." He said that made my jaw almost dropped. Gosh! He's going with me? My, He has been usually at my side since I came back. He almost fullfil the duty of a boyfriend. A little more and I'll think that. He had a crush on me.
"What?!"
He laughed before entering my House without even asking my permission and make himself comfortable by sitting in my huge sofa. I crossed my arms and followed him there.
I stand in front of him.
"You can't go with me" I said, but he just smiled like he don, 't even care and I'm starting to be feel pissed off here not because of him but because my heart was now beating wildly.
And it always beats this way wherever I saw that deadly smile only from him. Like what the heck is your problem heart?
"Yes, I can."
"No." I strongly refused.
"Yes."
I massage the bridge of my nose in frustration. Fine! He wins because he will always be the winner among us. Why would I even hope? I never win to him!
And I would never try to hope because I'll only fail.
"Why would you want to come with me?" my forehead creased.
"You were too assuming Allyssa. Of course, I don, 't want to come with you. I am a just coming because you were so clumsy and disgraceful. I'm afraid you might get into another accident again."
"I never had!"
"Yeah right, but you almost." He became serious now as he stared me. "Look Allyssa, If you don, 't want me at your sight then hate me for all I care. I only cared for you."
"I am fine."
"Who says not? You were always fine of course." I don, 't know if it were just me or I really felt the sarcasm when he said those.
I just ignored that feeling. I just wake up anyway. Maybe I am just imagining or my senses wasn't all awake yet.
"Calvin, If your worried about me or you cared about me." I forced a smile to convince him, but he didn, 't even react. He just stared at me, so I sighed. "I assured you that I would be really fine."
"Why don, 't you just let me go with you?"
I paused and stared at him for a while. I don't know but I have nothing to answer to his question because honestly, I don, 't really know what's the answer and how to answer it.
Because me myself, I don, 't know the answer.
I sighed. "Okay fine, Seems like you won't stop until you finally convince me so okay. You can go with me but make sure to behave yourself Calvin."
He smiled widely. "Yeah sure. Anyway even if you won't let me go with you, I'll still follow you secretly, of course." He winked at me but I just rolled my eyes.
I don't know but I find it... sweet?
I just prepared myself, and then we finally left for our Vacation. We're going on their Beach Resort. At first, I complained because of course. Our families were not friends and I'm afraid they might throw me away when I get there.
And what if some people's will see me right? It was such a shame!
But Calvin just laughed with my reason and said it was all okay. And when he said that, I just trusted him and everything was alright. See? That's how his charm effects on me.
"How many days are we going to stay here?" I asked while roaming my eyes around. The Place was really nice.
I would probably enjoy the rest of my stay here!
"Two or Three, it's up to you. But If you wanted to stay here for a week, don't worry. I already talk about it to Erwin and Alexia, and they were really fine about it."
"What if they'll fire me?" I asked hesitantly. Though I know that's impossible because we're friends but who knows right?
"Trust me Ally, They would never do that."
"And how can you be so sure?"
"I just know." He smiled as he held my hands and walk with me on the Hotel to check in.
"Good Morning, Sir." The Receptionist greeted him cheerfully with a smile before she turned to me and smiled more. "Good Morning Madam. I guess you're his girlfriend."
I just smiled awkwardly and glanced at Calvin as I shook my head.
"Uh No. I'm not, We were just good friends."
"Oh, Is that so?" She took a glance to Calvin who is now busy talking with the HR if I am not mistaken before whispering something to me. "You look good together uh... Miss?'"
"Allyssa." I offered my hand, and she gladly accepted it
"I'm Larah and I've been working here as a Receptionist for two years now."
"Your looks doesn't suit your work." I joked, and She laughed.
Oh, I'm starting to like this girl. He is not artistic and has no desire when she look at Calvin likes everyone else.
"Others also told me that. But this is not a case for me. I am actually a Nurse, But there is an incident that causes me to work here as a simple receptionist." her eyes became sad momentarily, and then she smiled again and acted as she said nothing.
But I knew, she was carrying something inside her but she just didn’t want to talk about it.
"Anyway, The Mendocinos Paradise is really nice and well paid. Add more the fair treatment for all employees here by the Mendocinos even though they are more superior to us, so I can't leave here either. Also, it became like my home."
I just smiled. She looks so proud with her employers. I wonder what kind of family is the Mendicinos.
"Larah. The Presidential Suite please" Calvin suddenly came, so we stopped talking.
"Yes, Sir" She took something on the Cabinet and gave Calvin a key.
"Thanks."
"No problem, Sir."
Calvin looked at me while smiling before he hold my hand "Let's go?"
"Wait. You only have one key. Where's mine?"
"We're sharing a Room." He gave me wink. And my jaw dropped. What the heck?! We are sharing a Room? My, I don't think I can sleep at night because of that!
"No! I'm not sharing a Room with you!"
He just laughed at my reaction that made me more wanted to kick his ass. He looks so amused, What's so funny? Do I look like a clown here?
"Relax Allyssa, It's a Presidential Suite okay? So, We have three Rooms inside the Suite. You don't have to worry and one more thing..." His smile turn into playful way, so I glared at him, but he just laughed again.
Argh! He's so Abnormal!
"You're not my type so—"
"Shut up! I don't want to hear from you." I started walking away while he was behind me. Still laughing like it's so funny.
I bet he's going crazy.
