Synopsis
"Be my Queen, Ely... You're not allowed to say no."
Elizabeth Berry is a famous multi-awarded singer who tried to follow her dead husband in the afterlife. But after a twist of fate, she arrives in an unknown world ruled by a King, who is known for being ruthless.
But this cold King looks a lot like her beloved husband! He becomes smitten by her beauty, and he decides to keep her in his palace, accepting her as a foreign royalty with the title "Queen of Ballad" even though he doesn't know what she means by it. Now, Ely is being tangled in both the mysterious things happening in the nation, and the royal family's issues.
As Ely gets involved in the royal family's dark secrets, can the King protect her from his enemies, or will she be forced to return to her own world?

As she slid down the filled tub, her mind wandered on its own. Slowly, she closed her eyes. She remembered the living days of her deceased husband. She remembered his smile and his kindness. She was crying, but all her tears had diffused with the water surrounding her.
She felt that she was diving in the ocean without oxygen. But even if she couldn't breathe, her body felt so free. It felt like she was separating from her soul.
She thought, "So this is how it's like to die... I feel refreshed and free."
When she thought she could really continue dying, her instinct and consciousness woke her up. She struggled to move her body, then raised her head to breathe again.
She suddenly felt the terror of death, then found herself sitting up, and the water was just above her waist. Her long, platinum blonde hair was all over her face. She breathed heavily, gasping for air.
"What are you doing in my bath?"
A naked stranger suddenly spoke behind Ely.

Oooh new book from one of the best writers in WN! I have read Caring for Mr. Mutant before so this book will certainly be another great work from the author <33 [img=recommend][img=recommend]
Ah... first of all, I don't know why you have two four-star reviews. This story is gold! I've only been reading some chapters and I'm already intrigued! I love how the author expressed the emotions of the characters and connected the book cover to a scene in the first chapter. Well, maybe second. The writing quality is top-notch, stability of updates, not sure on that one but since this is a new novel and has more than 20 chaps, then I'd give it five. Story development is awesome. Since the plot is already revealed in the sypnosis, the story is on the right path and is thrilling. Character design? You already know the answer to that. The explanation or description of the female lead is extravagant. It is a five for that! World background? Well since we are living in the modern world, it is far more interesting knowing some historical stories that do not include technologies. So pretty much a five-star too. Look, read the first chapter first, and see for yourself. You'll immediately know that this is gold. I will gladly recommend it to any age, well maybe a little older than 13 years old. But yes! If I have alt accounts, I would still say the same things. All I can say to the author, great job! You are the first person to impress me this month. I'm looking forward, and probably many readers out there, to new releases. So be sure to give some of your ps to the author and support her. If you have time, do give her some good feedback in the reviews. Let's not make this novel underrated, okay? That's it for my review!
This author always astonishes me with her story ideas. The story is a royal romance which I like a lot!! The FL is transmigrated and has met the MC. I wanna see how their love story will bloom. Looking forward to more chapters, author-san. Is the MC like our Jackson Wang? Hehe. Keep up the good work.
Such a nice and heartwarming story. It has a nice pace of progression without stalling with useless information. The characters interact naturally and are not forced.
I read yet another intriguing story today! The first chapter hooked me. Not until I finished reading Chapter 1 of the book. This narrative contains a lot of different emotions. While simultaneously making me sad, it makes me incredibly eager to read more! Tell me there is a happy ending to this. please huhuhu In the end, I love the way how you write it was excellent and enjoyable to read. Keep going! I should put this in my library!
This is a gem! I like the plot which is really interesting. It really intrigue me. I also like how the characters were portrayed in the story. I am so looking forward for their uhmmm.... interaction... hehe The pacing is also good and makes you want to read more.

Ahhh the author has done it again!! I love the couple but I just feel everything is quick. Anyways how can I describe the story hmmm, fantasy, romance, slight comedy. Maro guy is sometimes jelly jelly, and our Queen is ruling him. Great work.

The first chapter really saddens me because of the sudden death of her husband and can you believe that it's their wedding day and honeymoon that happens? I feel sad and heartbroken for dear Ely and now this King that has the similar face of his husband is a ruthless king in some another world. I though Ely would be death but bacause of her title "Queen of Ballad" it seems it save her from trouble for now. I love this story and the writing style and narration is easier to understand.
