Chapter 46: Floor 2
Going to the middle of the floor, which Mizuki had passed while on her killing spree, the group noticed how the boss was already killed, well missing that is.
'I wonder who killed it?' was the thought going through their minds.
Going through a gate made of bones, they found themselves in a similar forest but it was nighttime and the only thing to provide them any light were hundreds of tiny fireflies.
[Floor 2 reached]
"Alright, same plan." Mizuki said as she disappeared yet again.
"*Sigh* alright. Let's get to it." Tomi sighed as he and Natyr headed towards the South.
"Come on already Salon, you'll leave all the monsters to me at this rate." Eric said as he started walking, Salon turning towards him and moving to follow. Only to be stopped.
"Uh guys. There's a wall here." the one who spoke was Tomi.
"Hm?" Shigoto hummed curiously.
"We can't go South if there is no South to go to." Tomi explained that there was an invisible wall of mana blocking their path.
"It's not that big of a problem Tomi." Natyr explained.
"If captain went straight North then two groups should just start heading North-East and North-West respectively."
"ah.. nevermind then." Tomi said, clearly embarrased. Of what he was embarrased of? No clue.
"Right then. We should send one Tier 4 in each direction. What about Shigoto and and me go West while Salon takes the Eric and Tomi East." Natyr proposed.
'Come on! Fall for it!' She thought enthusiastically.
"I don't think that's the best idea. Both of you are mid to long range without any close range cover. What about Shigoto and Eric go West, I can vouch for Eric's melee skills." Salon countered.
'Fuck.' Natyr sadly proclaimed in her head.
"That's fine." She stated in contrast to her thoughts.
"Then let's head out already. Don't want the captain to get angry." Shigoto said as he pulled Eric with him.
"Good luck old man."
"To you as well."
With Eric and Salon exchainging farewells for now, the groups split and headed in their respective directions.

Just like on the last floor, Mizuki was slaughtering everything she saw.
Stopping the flow of a beasts blood or heart with time magic.
Cutting them in half with space magic.
Teleporting vital organs out of their bodies.
Just making their hearts implode and so on.
When she reached the Northern most point while remaining suprisingly clean, she had also leveled up a few times.

"They sure are taking their time." Mizuki thought as she was sitting amongst a pile of dissipating monster corpses.
'Oh. That one dropped something interesting.'
What died was a giant white worm that spewed light blue fire. Yet it stood no chance against being cut in half. Thrice.
What dropped was a vial of white liquid and a book that was glowing bright gold.
The book was colored purple with dark blue edges and a pixelated light blue flame on the cover.
Holding on to it for now, as in placing it in her inventory, a notification sounded out to everyone within the Sanctuary.
[Both Mini bosses, the World Feeder on Floor 1 and the Blessed Wyrm on Floor 2 have been eliminated and their exclusive items dropped.]
Reading through it, Mizuki couldn't really care as she was tired of waiting.
Leaving a message at their supposed meet up place, Mizuki left to the third floor.
Entering the floor, she was greeted with thousands of unnaturally large fireflies.
'It seems the higher you go the stronger fireflies you see. Explains why the first two floors mostly had monsters and animals that are predators to the annoying flies.'
Flaring her mana, Mizuki created a magic circle, the first in a while. She combined ice, fire and space.
Completing it in a matter of seconds, she activated it the moment the flies were about to attack full force.
A wave traveled through space in nearly a 200m radius. All fireflies froze before falling to the ground. The moment thay touched the ground the ice melted and they turned into dust.
While Mizuki kept walking around to kill as many monsters on this floor as she could, the rest of her crew were also struggling a bit on the lower floor.

With Shigoto and Eric fighting a massive frog wearing ice armor. Shigoto couldn't do much famage due to Eric trying to block all attacks that were thrown at him like a wannabe tank.
Thrown to the side by the frogs ice armor covered tongue, Shigoto finally managed to find an opening as the threw nearly 20 light green balls of cursed lightning element into the beasts mouth, killing it almost instantly.
Shigoto then headed to Eric to cuss him out for the next 3 minutes.
After the 5 minutes of torture filled words from Shigoto. (Yes it lasted 2 minutes longer than predicted.)
Shigoto and Eric were now surrounded on two sides by another 2 frogs. This time not with ice armor but with stone armor.

While Shigoto and Eric started another harsh battle, Natyr, Tomi and Salon were not faring any better.
The two man and one woman group were facing off against a large spider. A very large spider.
Behind the sspider there was a large web that was covered in corpses of different monsters.
Rats, bats, birds, frogs and other spiders who were all looking to snack on some fireflies that they could see stuck on the web, got stuck themselves and only ended up as food for the spider.
"Is this one of those minibosses? Why the hell can't I cut its webs!?" Natyr yelled.
"Calm down. There is a way out of this along with a way to kill this beast. We just have to find it." Salon stated confidently.
"AHHHHHHH! F*CKING SPIDERS!!" Tomi yelled like a little b*tch even though he had fear resistance.
Natyr looked at him with a hint of disdain as she was citting down as many webs as possible with an ice sword she just so happened to make.
"Don't look at me like that!"
"*Sigh.*" Natyr sighed as she yelled towards Salon.
"I'll try to stop it for as long as I can with ice, deal the finishing blow!"
As Natyr said this, ice spread from her to the ground and a second later, all of the spiders legs were partly frozen to the ground.
With the spider noticing it couldn't move, it started struggling as it pulled its leg up with ice and earth both sticking to it.
Salon, taking the cjance given to him, ran around the spider and cut off it's legs one by one. Until.
The spider feeling extreme pain, started to rampage.
It freed it's legs and started spewing webs everywhere while trying to bite anything it could see.
"AHH!"
With only three legs left attached to the spiders body, it launched itself towards Natyr who just had her spell broken and was trying to recover.
With the spider only a few inches away from removing her head, Natyr closed her eyes.
And yet before the spider could reach her and instantly kill her. Natyr heard a screech.

Tomi, who was cowering in fear atop a nearby tree, had thrown his spare dagger at the spiders eye and jumped down infront of Natyr, swors in hand.
'Finally some character development for the scaredy cat.' Salon thought as he saw this happen while running full speed to try to help.
Tomi thrust his sword into the spiders throat as Salon jumped up and decapitated it with Tomis help.
"Good job there boyo." Salon said as the spider started to dissipate.
"Natyr are you alright?" Tomi said as he quickly ran towards Natyr.
"I'm fine."
"No, I don't think you are. Lie down." Tomi was insistent.
"I'm fine. Really."
"Just listen to the man. Only this once should be fine no?" Salon interrupted.
Natyr finally laid down with a sigh, only for her to faint from the realization that she had nearly died moments later.
With her head resting on Tomis lap, Salon and Tomi were wondering who to give the dropped loot to.
Nearly 16 minutes later, Natyr woke up to find herself resting on Tomis lap.
Getting up with a blush, Tomi handed her the dropped skill book they got from the spider. Stating that without her ice, they would have died.
Accepting it reluctantly, she noticed that with it they could get a special class.
Asking Salon if it was really okay and getting a nod in return, Salon told her that both him and Tomi had already reached Tier 4, with Tomi undergoing Tier up while she was resting.
Noticing that she also had already reached level 100, she used the book and underwent her Tier up.
Meanwhile. While both groups on Floor 2 were having their moments both good and bad, Mizuki had ran into a human corpse that she found interestingly familiar.
