Chapter 819: Misaligned
Aina tried to rein in her cries, but she couldn't seem to do so. At a moment like this, Leonel would have already swooped in and placed a silencing array everywhere and even hidden her from the crowd. But, he wasn't by her side at the moment.
Having had such a thought, she only seemed to cry harder.
Milan, who had taken up the duty of 'guarding' Aina as he felt he should as one of Leonel's teammates, suddenly became flustered beyond compare. How was he supposed to deal with this? What the hell was going on?

Awespec Firstly, I'd like to say sorry about the lack of chapters yesterday. I had an appointment that ran late and when I got home and tried to force myself to write, the chapters that came out made me gag, lmao. Publishing chapters for a daily serialization is like constantly having control over the nuke codes, one mistake could derail the whole story. But at the same time, it's impossible to plan out every detail ahead of time -- your favorite authors are just very good at winging it sometimes (shhh, don't tell them I told you guys this secret). That said, your favorite authors are also good at having a vision in mind ahead of time and sticking to it too, and yesterday I almost set mine completely off course.
Anyway, before I get too off topic, my failure yesterday made me realize that your boy needs a small break. I need to rest my mind and especially my fingers for a bit. So, I will be taking the next two days off. I will be back on Saturday to ease myself back into the groove of things with a light two chapter upload again. Since I've failed win-win, I might as well reset until the turn of the next month (China time).
