Chapter 38: Power Battle

'This will be easy,' Shin thought. Time slowed down around him. He could see the Super's frustrated and confused expression, the falling debris and dust of his attack golems, and the movements of his fingers as he tried to use his power. Shin moved his head to see if they were any other golems coming for him.

'Oh shit,' he said to himself. His head was turning at the same speed as his enemy's fingers were moving.

"Looks like we can only pull off super speed for a short time. I don't know what the cooldown time is yet. Don't worry though, dilation will give us plenty of time to figure out how to counter his moves," Shinja said.

"I think I would have rathered slice himup while he stood still."

"You got this buddy, I'll let you know any useful analysis from the mini-minds."

The super, a large dirty looking fellow, said, "that was a nice trick, but my statues we're nothing. You'll have to face my overwhelming power directly now."
