" Is this the best you guys have got?" I spoke condescendingly to a group of pirates who were currently trying their best to kill me. The keyword being trying. Anyways you might be wondering how I got into this situation, well for the past year I've been a part-time bounty hunter.
My dad recommended this to me because I could get some nice combat experience and make some money on the side as well.
So this crew I'm currently fighting is called the Mace Pirates whose captain has a bounty of 4.5 million bounties.
" The hell are you guys doing!" I heard someone shout from the array of pirates. And lo and behold their Captain, who was a tall, and burly man. The man looked to be around my father's height but a tad bit shorter. So I'd estimate he's around 6'8. He was also very wide, so wide I wouldn't be surprised if he weighed in at 500 pounds.
' How the fuck is he moving?' I thought to myself as I dodged a sword strike from a random pirate in the mob of others, as I then twisted and punched him square in the face knocking him out cold.
" Everyone, stop!" I heard the captain ordering his crew as they stopped attacking me making me wonder what he was up to.
" Boy, listen up, I'm going to offer you the choice of a lifetime." The captain said to me making me laugh.
" I'm sorry, would you please repeat that?" I said hoping he wasn't going where I thought he was. If he was going to say what I thought he would, then I think he would be able to kill me. Kill me with laughter of course.
" Boy, I'm offering you to join the strongest pirate crew in the North Blue." The Captain said bringing down his mace to his side.
" Yeah, how about no, I've already taken out a handful of your crew while barely even trying. So much for the strongest crew." I snorted before I continued my rampage against him and his crew once more.
I was using moon-step to dodge most of the attacks the pirates were throwing at me, and knocking them out with kicks and punches as they required no real skills to defeat.
[ 5 Minutes Later ]
" So your the last one. Would it be too much to ask for you to surrender?" I asked the Captain since I was bored out of my mind in this fight, as they didn't prove to be a challenge at all.
" You little shit! Who the hell do you think you are telling me to surrender!" The captain screamed with disdain, as he brought down his mace towards my head. I used iron body right before the mace hit which made it crumble from the impact. Due to previously having so much time, I made sure to learn all 6 powers to at least a basic level. Something which definitely proved useful.
" Sigh, I'm done with this," I said to myself appearing behind the Captain who was in shock of his mace being destroyed so easily, and I punched him in the head quite hard. So much so I managed to change the shape of his head quite a bit coupled with the force of the punch which rendered him unconscious.
" Finally finished with this job." I checked the pirate's ship for any kind of treasure. They didn't have that much but the ship did indeed have a chest with some gold inside, which was better than nothing.
[ 30 Minutes Later ]
As I was on my own ship traveling to the nearest island with a marine base so I could hand in the pirate for my bounty, I noticed a large explosion nearby in the sea quite close to my ship. Me being the curious person am I, decided to check it out.
While my ship was sailing towards where the explosion, I noticed large amounts of wood and broken parts of a ship which must have been from the explosion. I couldn't help but wonder just how strong the explosion was.
[ 5 Minutes Later ]
When I finally reached the area where the explosion went off, I saw a kid about my age comatose in a broken-down ship that was slowly sinking. As I looked at his face, I immediately realized who he was.
" Oh fuck, that's…"
