It's been six months since I asked my parents for a sword to start my training and I've raised my proficiency to 17%. My father was suspicious on how I could know what do with the sword but with no better explanation I've been chalked up to be a genius. This is even better for me as I could increase my training intensity and show more of my skill without any excess scrutiny. Most of the time my mother supervises my training and I'm glad she does because although I have the knowledge on how to use the sword that doesn't mean my body can do all the complex movements.
"Indra-kun, it's time for you to spar with your father, If you want to start learning more advanced techniques you need to show him your current skill level." says my mother while kissing my forehead.
Although I'm regarded as genius, I still have to act like a child which I find very annoying but I can't slip up because if I do, who knows if its my own mother that would interrogate me for information. I wonder how those webnovel mc gets born and at the age of three they're already having conversations on how to develop the village with the hokage without getting mind-fucked.
"INDRA!!!!!!!!"

"Indra stop wasting my time and come out here, time to show me how strong you've gotten from your training, you have six months before you join the clan shinobi ranks," says my father.
"I'm on my way Yamada-sama," yes that's how I refer to the clan head when we're not inside the house".
[Yamada POV]
I'm excited to see how how Indra as grown, his talent is on par with those 13 year old monsters from the Uchiha and Senju clan, Madara and Hashirama, I need to push him more to get stronger if he is to survive in the troubled era. Sometimes I wonder if he's even my child, he's already as strong as I was when I was 10.
"Indra, I'd be waiting for you at the training ground, since you've decided to take your sweet time to come out." Although I can spar with him on my own personal training ground but it's a clan tradition to watch all the children spar with their surviving family member before they get ready join the clans forces.

Standing on the training ground while watching Indra with so much excitement on his face, brings a smile to my face as the boy always looks so serious, making me forget if he's a child sometimes.
"Indra, you're not allowed to hold back, this spar session is to show to the entire clan how far you've grown, and how strong the newest addition to our ranks would be and as the next clan head your strength would be scrutinised even more than the other members of your age group, remember if you can't protect yourself on the battlefield you'd die and your comrades would die also if they have to worry about saving you constantly." I said to him, with a serious look on my face, the clan would not accept a weakling as its head.
"Hai!!! Yamada-sama!!!," Indra replies with his face taking a more neutral look.
"So come at me with the intent to kill Indra," I say to him.
I watched as Indra unsheathes his tanto while anticipating his first attack direction from the slight movement of his right foot.
"START!!!!!!"

I dodged the tanto that was aimed at the left side of my neck, knowing his attack failed Indra jumps back and throws two shuriken at me while creating space between us. After a few seconds, he attacks me again with his tanto, I keep dodging his attacks, although he is very skilled he's still a 3 year old child so the gap between up is too much even while suppressing my ability to what I perceive to be his level.
"Are you done now Indra?, is this all your training amounts to? disappointing!" I say obviously taunting him.
[Indra POV]
Noticing my father dodging all my attacks easily, I know I have to do something else. I sped towards my father with my tanto poised to strike his right, he dodges obviously but I already anticipated that, so I threw a smoke bomb down, using the sudden loss of vision to my advantage, I summon a kunai to my palm from my inventory while thrusting forward towards his midriff.

I felt my kunai hit something metallic.
Tch!!!!!
I hissed in annoyance but didn't falter even knowing my attack has failed, I ran lightning chakra through my tanto and then my body to increase my speed and reflex. Sensing where my fathers chakra was, I sped towards him while completely suppressing my chakra.

He blocks again but with surprise on his face, the moment I felt my tanto hit his kunai, I jumped back and created a huge fireball directly between us and heading towards his face while releasing wind from my palm to increase the efficiency of the fireball and push me back from the attack range.
**Thud**
I knew I didn't get a direct hit because I could sense his chakra about 20 meters to the left of where my attack was. I stopped running lightning chakra through my body and tanto, although I had the chakra to maintain it for about 3 hours doesn't mean my 3 year old body can withstand the stress so I can only do it in short burst for now.
[Yamada POV]
I hurriedly did the hand signs for 'Kawarimi no jutsu' replacing myself with a log as I didn't expect Indra to use this much ninjutsu in such a short time, I didn't even see him do the handsigns, his chakra control is even better than I thought, to be able to hold a jutsu for a second after doing the handsigns, that's impressive" I thought.
I suddenly sped towards him with my kunai aiming for his head, I immediately throw a kick towards his left, he reacts to my kick by lifting his left hand to block my foot while running chakra through his hand to cushion the blow and strengthen his hand, although the hit still throws him back by a few metres, but I saw a slight smirk on his face as he flew back, the kind he has when he outsmarts you in a spar. Looking at my right leg I notice an explosion tag on foot, smiling because he must have attached it while I kicked him.
'Such quick thinking, Impressive,' I thought
As my left leg touched the floor while slightly leaning forward in order to attack him, I felt the ground below me vibrating a little, I smiled knowing he used an earth jutsu to trap my left leg after it touches the floor. I looked at him as he somersaults and lands on his feet.
'Shunshin no Jutsu'
I did the handsign for 'body flicker' and appeared behind him just as he stabilised himself, "Impressive but you lose Indra," I say with my kunai at his neck.
"Are you sure about that Yamada-sama?" Indra replies with a smile on his face.

I laugh while looking at the tanto pointing at my stomach.
"Congratulations you've won your first fight I say to Indra while removing my kunai from his neck. Hopefully you'd continue winning I muttered under my breath concerned for his future. For the next six months I'd personally be teaching you, your training would be more intense than it had been up till this point," I say to Indra with a wicked smile on my face.

A/N:- For anyone wondering why Indra could use ninjutsu without hand signs, It's because he's an Otsutsuki. They don't need hand signs since chakra originates from them.
