Synopsis
He looks tenderly at her the moment he enters his home. He does not mind the presence of his wife, and he keeps gazing at the only woman he truly loves.
She gets uncomfortable at his looks, and she notices how his wife is moving her eyes between both of them. The uneasiness of this moment makes her uncertain of her actions. Her fears come back again, and she wishes she had never returned.
“There is no way back. They started it, and I must end it. I must place the scattered pieces of my heart into their places again.” She smiles at this thought, and she feels in control of the situation once more.
After Sue Lorence moves on in her life, a call for help from the past awakens undesirable feelings and memories she tried for a decade to erase.
She finds herself drawn back to the darkness of her past life. She could not help herself but accept the idea of revenge.

Such an interesting book! The writing is great and really pulls the reader into the story. The characters are so dynamic and complex! A great read for sure!
Amazing novel.. it's an epic story between two sisters. One of them considers an example of honesty and good intentions whereas the other sister is so selfish and jealousy from her sister love story. It is a story that could happen between siblings in case they raise up without learning them how to love, respect and support each others..
Still in the first four chapters, but I like it so far. I am curious to know what happened between them. Amazing start. I will certainly continue to see what would happen next :)
This is an interesting book. It's not my usual preference but the complexity of it enticed me. The mystery formed in chapter 1 drives the story and leaves the reader wondering what will happen next!
I have not completed the book yet, I just read the first five chapters. From the beginning of the book, it attracts your attention and urges you to continue. I love this kind of books, the flashback.

Nice plot, the introduction makes you curious to know what had happened between these characters. What I liked the most about the novel is how things keep revealing chapter by chapter. I highly recommend this novel.

The more I read, the more I like it. I feel like reading different stories in one novel. It is interesting to read and I recommend this book to all book lovers
The story reads like a Victorian novel. To those who enjoy such timely pieces, then this will be a good fit for you. My main critiques are: the lack of character names in the beginning and the multiple parted chapters. Perhaps each chapter could stand alone with another title instead of being noted as "Reunion" parts 1-3. Such a remark is minimal. The overall flow of the tale is steady and bringing the dynamics of twin sisters is an engaging take. Especially when the husband of one deems to take matters into his own hands. Overall, the conflict to come will be engaging to watch.
