I will be honest I liked the idea, but a lot of things are missing or ignored for example when he says the mermaids got to the core of the island is it by water channels or on foot like they can turn their tails into feet, but I doubt it either of those, probably the author just didn't think too much about it. the same thing for the sharks it was mentioned that they can use tools so are they humanoid sharks with hands. The author probably doesn't care if it is possible for a nonhuman to do human activities and actions. let not mentionthe elephant in most of this last novels, we have the MC and the rest are f****g bots and NPCs and that destroy the novels. i'm a fan of kingdom/territory building and development and nonhuman MCs and Characters so things like this are annoying.

Warning! The protagonist is a slave of the system. Even minor objection from the MC leads to him being tortured by the system until he 'repents' his mistakes. His only mistake being not unconditionally trusting the system he suddenly recieves for no reason at all.
Whats happening to webnovel. Once upon a time, I looked forward to my Fridays because of the great books that came out every week. As time passed, the quality dropped slowly, but as Webnovel already had all the good books, this was understable. I love kingdom and territory building....this novel is not that. this novel I poorly written and is more like someone jotting down a dream. there is no character or world building with writing that is basically "oh there's that thing I like" nothing is explained creating a serious lack of depth to every aspect of this story.

Really like this story. The characters and storyline are well developed and interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next and how he responds. I really hope this book is continued.
The writing quality is just poor. Maybe it's the translation being overly simplified but I doubt it. It reads like a high school literary project. It may literally be the author is a student but I won't read something this low quality.
