Synopsis

How do you heal from a broken heart? When Franchette lost the love of her life, she forced herself to move on. Rather than drown herself with grief, she dedicated her time training in intensive military combat and caring for orphaned children.
When a new pandemic broke out, Franchette became a part of the team to combat the new biological hazard. To her surprise, it wasn’t a virus she had to fight but humans with an insatiable thirst for blood.
Vampires emerge as a product of science. Not the monsters you know in your story books. Immortality was achievable. But it caused death.
In the midst of hell breaking loose around her, Fran found Xedjedy alive and well, unlike the news she learned from the government. But he wasn’t the same man she loved before. He was part of the horde of vampires exterminating humanity.
Will she choose between him or the safety of those who are under her care? And become his weakness to save them all.

The story is interesting and a page turner. It is well written and exciting to read. The plot is different and unique, not your usual cliche story. The Author has crafted a great story, no boring moments so far! Highly recommended for me! Well done, Author!
This novel has the right spice for romance blended with great action scenes and a twisted plot. Based in the Philippine archipelago, the world-building was perfectly written with characters that will intrigue you to follow their adventure in every chapter.
A book written with great emotions. A unique catch. Starting from its foundation to it's development, you can see that it was really planned well. Especially some hehe scenes. Another lady(book) to wait for~

Writing and Development: This book has a clear idea of what the author wants however, there were a few info dump and redundancy of words. I suggest try to make it a conversation instead if that happens. and every chapter, there is a development but less hook. Character, Stability and Background: In my opinion, dayum I found it sad to know that I can not picture out the 3d character on the Female lead alright. I only got a glimpse of what Mushka looks like but not Franchette. It would be better if the author describe her first. *intense sobbing*. Now moving forward to the stability, the author manage to catch up on the chapters per week so it has no problem at all. In addition, the world background is nice starting from Luzon, or progresses after one chapter to another. It was a good read. Keep writing author! [img=recommend][img=recommend]

I'm actually surprised when I saw that the author used the Philippines as a world setting, i'm from the same country but never thought of it hahahaha. I don't have much knowledge ket taga dito aako t_t. That aside, I just pointed this out since thats a really awesome thing. The apocalypsish (without zombies though hahaha author used vamps mwehehehe) vibe made me interested of how the world background would be told. Protagonist had me confuse of her gender though hahaha always thought she's a he, but all in all this is a great story. [YOU SHOULD READ THIS!!! THIS IS A SIGN]
