Chapter 1: Hero Entrance Exam
"U.A. High." Akuma said as he slid his dark hood on and began to follow the other students to the entrance exam. He listened to Present Mic explain how to earn points and he saw a teen in glasses scolding one with messy green hair.
"And you!" Ida whispered with an agitated tone, "Take that hood off and show some respect!"
"Why don't you make me?" Akuma asked with an uncaring but serious tone, "If you think you can that is."
"Why you." Ida said with a glare before turning to face the screen again and he could hear Akuma chuckling to himself. After Present Mic's speech Akuma went to his designated area and he sighed when he was forced to put on the U.A. gym outfit. He wasn't sure how a prestigious hero school didn't have a shirt in his size but he slid the one that's size was the closest and it clung to his more tightly than he liked. He went to the starting area and noticed the stares he was getting from several of the would be students.
"Is he really the same age as us?" A guy with red hair asked as he noticed the size difference in Akuma's muscles compared to himself and the other boys their age, "He's not huge but it's like he spent his entire life working out."
"Stop being rude." A pink skinned girl hissed as she realized that Akuma heard them by the grin he had and he heard the signal for them to go. Before the others could move Akuma had flew past them and was already building his points rapidly.
"If we don't go now then he isn't going to leave anything for us!" The red haired teen yelled and the other students sprinted into the mock city.
"Are these really meant for students?" Akuma asked as two of the robots grabbed his wrists with cables and the Pro Heroes watched the screen carefully as three more robots caught his legs and neck.
"Those robots are going to kill that boy if we don't stop them!" Midnight yelled as the robots tried to back up to tighten their cables and the heroes eyes widened as smoke began to come from the robots' tracks as Akuma pulled them closer. When he snatched the arms wrapped around his arms off of the ground and used them to destroy the one holding his neck. They thought the robots holding his legs had made him fall forward but it was clear that Akuma had done it himself when he landed on his hands and spun, forcing the robots into the building walls.
"Little rough for normal kids don't you think?" Akuma asked as he hopped to his feet and felt the ground begin to shake. He flew to the top of a building and saw a huge robot rolling through the city and destroying anything in front of it. Akuma ignored the no point robot and sat on the roof of the building as he watched the other student struggle against their robots.
"Should I help?" Akuma asked himself as he saw with some sort of malfunctioning machine be surrounded by several robots, "I'm guessing she is only taking part in the hero entrance exam to test her inventions."
"Maybe I should have brought more babies." Mei said with a strange smile as the robots got closer and she watched in surprise as Akuma landed in front of her with a calm expression on his face, "Well isn't that a cool entrance!"
"Use a safer way to test your 'Babies' out." Akuma scolded as he counted the number of robots around them, "If they aren't reliable yet then don't take them into battle."
"There's no better way to test them!" Mei yelled with excitement and she gasped as Akuma picked her up to kick the robot coming from behind her hard enough for it to break apart.
"His hand to hand combat skills are top notch." One of the Pros said as they watched Akuma move Mei around him to destroy the robots as they reached them with ease, "He's able to move that girl out of harm's way while simultaneously fighting the robots.
"Woah!" Mei yelled as Akuma flew into the air while carrying her bridal style and she watched him seem to drop a small twinkling light.
"Cover your face." Akuma told her as he swiped his hand and she saw the small light cause a massive explosion that turned the remaining robots into dust. The signal to stop rang out and he sat Mei down before walking towards the exit.
"What'd you use to do that?!" Mei yelled with excitement as she stepped in front of him and she tried to process what happened when he suddenly disappeared.
"Annoying." Akuma said as he reappeared at the exit and follow the instructions to leave. Mei saw him as she exited the building but he flew away before she could question him more.
"There's no way you're getting off that easy!" Mei said with a crazed smile as she thought about what inventions he could have used to fly and cause destruction, "You just wait!"
"From U.A.?" Akuma asked himself as he saw the envelope after checking his mail. He wasn't sure why he checked it regularly when he never got any but walked back into his apartment. He tore it open and saw that only a small device was inside. He placed it on the desk and a holographic screen instantly appeared and All Might explained that he had successfully managed to get into U.A. high.
"I suppose it could have been worse." Akuma said as he tossed the device into the trash and laid on his bed. He stared at the ceiling and wondered why he had even applied to the school to begin with. He had no actual interest in how things worked on this planet but figured if he wanted to be left alone he would have to fit in. He thought about why he was sent here and knew that his home was no longer there.
"Can a Saiyan really fit in with a world like this." Akuma asked himself as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
