Chapter 344: Old Friends

Suddenly, a group of people shot out of a rift. It was Layla, along with Hex, Lena, and Talon. She had been dragging all three of them with her while in the blue world before suddenly shooting out towards Apollo now, with her arms spread wide open.

There was an audible crack.

Layla slammed into Apollo at full force, cracking his rib cage in the process. The two of them tumbled around until eventually stopping. Apollo was in a daze, lying on the ground and hardly able to make sense of the situation. Layla was on top, raising her hands high into the air.

"Friend!"

There was an insect on her back that climbed off to get onto Apollo. It similarly raised two arms in the air and let out an excited chirping sound.

Vicar was flabbergasted, but couldn't help but laugh when he saw this.

"It seems you have friends that care about you. Are you sure you have always been alone?"
