Chapter 2: Resui Ertford
Yu processed the information that flooded into his brain.
Resui Ertford was the first prince of the Ertford Kingdom. Throughout the kingdom's 500+ years of history, he was the first male prince born from the queen herself. Since all of the heirs had been female, this went across the continent.
Some called him a miracle, others called him a curse. One day while he was out on a expedition, he and his men encountered a soul devouring plant. Of course, they were all young and their powers hadn't fully matured, so they died to the plant. Before Resui's soul was eaten, a wandering fox spirit grabbed his soul and gave him a physical body.
He returned back to the kingdom after some time with the fox spirit, and his family is relieved to be back safe and sound. Though some people were suspicious on why Resui was the only one to come back, they couldn't do anything without proper evidence.
Resui thought he could enjoy a nice life, but the body the fox spirit gave him relied on yin energy. He could naturally absorb yin energy, but that was only at night. In the day, his body ran on the excess yin energy he had absorbed in the night. To make things worst, when the moon wasn't out, he would turn into a silver and white fox with blue ears. Due to the lack of Yin energy.
It was fine at first, but Athel the crown prince of the neighboring kingdom saw him turn into a fox one night. After that, Athel always thought Resui was planning to do something with his fiance (Resui's sister). This annoyed Resui so but he couldn't do anything, because Athel knew his secret.
This didn't stop Resui from embarrassing Athel behind the scenes though, so Resui kinda deserved it.
Man, after reading all that Yu got a headache. Was this man the main character of a k-drama?!
"Hey 257.." Yu asked.
"Yes?" The kitten tilted his head.
"This summary barely gave out any information on about what this guy was like." Yu tapped the kitten's forehead.
257 shook his head in protest but still let Yu pet him.
"Basically, he was mischievous and beautiful. He hated Athel from the start because he kinda was a sis con TwT. Only time he wasn't playing around was when he was in his fox form, which made sense since that was his most vulnerable form."
"I see, so basically...Death seeking sis con?" Yu lit up.
"...Yes...?" The kitten shook off Yu's hand. "Anyways, after completing a world, you get points. You can use these points to buy stuff in the system's shop. Right now, you have 500 points since you're a beginner. Oh and, I can only pause the world for 5 minutes so you're leaving in...oh wait time's up i'll tell you later bye!" The kitten waved his paw as the world began turning again.
"...So they can treat you." His sister said, continuing where she left off.
"Oh he's fine, you don't have to pamper him for everything..." Athel sneered.
"Oh shush Athel, you know how I am with my brother." Anna glared at Athel before squishing Resui's cheeks again.
"A-Athel's right, you don't have to spoil me like this..." Yu felt strange getting all this affections from someone he didn't know. He also gently pushed away her hands.
Anna pouted. "Well fine then! Athel, don't you do anything!" Before Athel could answer, she ran away to do other stuff.
After making sure Anna was gone, Athel turned back to him.
"Skank." He mouthed.
Yu had to hold back the urge to punch this man in the face. Seeing this, Athel smirked and trotted away.
"....Can we continue?" Yu asked.
"Shush! You can talk through your thoughts! If this world finds us here, we'll be booted ASAP!!!!" The cute kitten popped up in the air and hurriedly put it's paw over his mouth. Yu enjoyed the cuteness of the talking kitten.
"Oh ok, but can we talk no-"
"Clean up your room first, Resui hates messy room." The system reminded him.
Yu sighed and called some servants over. They didn't even question the broken stuff littered around the room. After all was said and done, the system continued explaining.
"If you go OOC (out of character), the ooc percentage will go up. If you reach 100%, the world will see you as an intruder and boot us out, making us fail the mission."
"What do you mean 'The World'?"
"Each world we go to has it's own God/Goddesses, they don't like transmigration systems messing up their world."
"Huh? Why don't they like it?"
"ALERT: INFORMATION LOCKED! PLEASE REACH RANK 17 IN ORDER TO UNLOCK IT!!" The system alerted.
"..Ummm ok then." Resui stopped asking.
"And most important..." The system continued. "In order to complete this world and move on, 3 things must be done."
"And they are...?" Yu urged the cat to go on.
"The things the previous hosts wanted to do." The cat did a creepy smile.
"Ew." Yu narrowed his eyes.
" TwT " The cat had some tears in his heart...that was his best smile...
"Anyways, here's the 3 wishes the previous host had:
1. Beat Athel in the Royal tournament coming up.
2. Make Anna and Athel break up.
3. Find Anna another person to date.
And that's it!" The system waved it's paw. "Before I go back to the system space, just remember that it's month since Athel found out about your true identity. So a full moon is coming up tomorrow! Be prepared! Fighting! >.<"
The system then poofed leaving Yu alone in the room. He sighed, he was just a normal writer. How was he supposed to do this....
