Valeria Brinstrone is an abused housewife in the city of Zarin but one day, when a reaper came for her, she accidentally stabbed him and now she has to be his substitute to collect 100 souls while the reaper heals or her soul will be sent to Hell to serve the King of Hell.

Then she snapped herself out of that line of thought. Oh dear fish sticks and all things fishy and unholy. He is a reaper. She is half-swooning over the thought of kissing a reaper, for fish sake. A handsome, gorgeous reaper. But still, a REAPER.
“Oh woman, stop it, you are making ME blush!” Ari said. He reached out, grabbed her by her neck and then planted his full luscious lips on hers.

First dragons, now this author has introduced a new genre! I never knew the topic of death and supernatural can become a comedy and this is only three chapters but I am hooked. Can't wait to read more about Valeria as a substitute reaper.
Wow. I have followed this author's other books but this is a whole new style. I like it so far. Only two chapters in and I am intrigued. I wonder what will happen to Valeria.
Hello all, author here. This is a supernatural fantasy story set in a modern world. It is not a normal romance story but also a comedy and one of a protagonist learning to stand up for herself and regaining her confidence again. I hope you enjoy this story!
I have never read reaper themed stories before but this one is really nice and enjoyable to read. It doesn't really gives you the creeps and makes everything sound so natural. It depicts the reality of marriages and families which is very nice. I am looking forward to see Valeria gaining back her confidence and fighting against her oppressors. Also wish not to see her die before 3 months.
I love story about reapers. I hope this will be good. The poor housewife was so bullied by the in-laws. I hope she gets her revenge now that she has powers. Can't wait to read more.
The grace in which the author writes this story and develops it in such a short time of 13 chapters should be applauded. I thought of just going through this genre, even though it isn't my favorite, but I've found a gem. Thank you, Author. keep up the good work.
Okay giving this review after reading the 7th chapter I like this novel. Its concept is very unique from another same kind of substitute romance novel! I highly suggest readers to read this as the story plot is very amazing!

I don't comment often on stories, but this is a really refreshing read. I highly recommend giving it a shot, it gave me quite a few laughs and the setting is interesting and not cliche compared to other novels on the platform. I enjoyed reading this a lot! 🥰
This was ridiculously fun.... at the start I almost disregarded the title and thought that Varie would live a sorry life, but then the plot introduced the lovely neighbourhood reaper Ari... I really love their interactions so far, they are funny and well thought out... the mechanics of reading and the comedy are my two favourite parts 🤣 fantastic work...I will keep reading!!

Although this story is still so new and only a few chapters, I like it so far. First time reading a fantasy theme type of story in a modern setting. I pity the female lead. I hope the monster-in-law gets what she deserve.
