Chapter 175: How did Kara escape?

Kara sat on the low stool in front of the mirror and she watched her reflection for a while. 

Her face was clear as day and there were no tears on her face or any deciperable emotions at all. Everything was perfect except for her left hand. She couldn't get it to stop shaking. 

She heard a rattle and turned around to glue her eyes at the door, her right hand instinctively went for the pencil on the table for protection.

"Hey, Bean" 

"Daddy" she let go of the pencil and even pulled off a believable smile.

"Can we talk?" Jason asked her and she nodded.

Kara watched as he came inside holding a box. It was the first aid box that was usually in the library downstairs.

Jason sat down on the bed and watched her for a few seconds. His beautiful blue eyed baby girl. He didn't know it was possible for someone to have a lot to say yet nothing to say at the same time.
