Kara's POV 

I watched as I was slowly submerged in water. It made me think of the last conversation I had with Kane.

"You know this is all your fault! All you had to do was love me…like I love you! All you had to do was accept me! But everytime I extend a hand, you spit in my face and now, you are going to die for it!"

 I didn't know what pissed me off the most, the fact that Kane looked angry or the fact that he thought his feelings mattered to me at this point.

I couldn't stop the bubbling feeling that was coming from my stomach and spreading to the rest of my body.

I looked dumb-struck and to add salt to injury, he spoke again.

"Accept me and I will set you free. I have a way out of this country. We could live happily together, kid. Just give me your hand!"
