Synopsis

Aeons passed,
In a primal realm.
Great empires rose… And fell.
Immortal beings of unimaginable power battled tirelessly for Dao supremacy.
Plotting and scheming with underhanded ferocity.
Leaving swathes of destruction in their transient wakes.
They ruled these primordial lands, where the brave – or the foolish – go to test their prowess.
Xiao Xue didn’t seek much.
Carefree as a lone wild ant thrush,
A simple existence in peace, contentment and quietude should have sufficed.
But the schemes of the ancestral divinities would not permit such.
Xiao Xue now walks down a bloody path,
Fraught with wrath, pain and mindless bloodbaths.
For he no longer believes in the good nature of ephemeral mortality.

This is the tale of a reincarnated pacifist…
Going rogue.

Up to chapter 6: I’m in a trance... I can say that this xianxia is probably the more “accomplished” story since I began reading Chinese novels. This story is incredible! After having read this story, I can only lament how bad, simple and childish are all the other xianxia. The storyline is incredibly deep, worked, and well written. The author knows where his story goes and he carries his work confidently. It's definitely a decent read.

All-around awesome story. I can only recommend it. Grammar almost flawless, pacing is great and the few characters I have seen are well fleshed out. Whats even better, the world-building looks well-thought out. The main character is likable and in "3D", not like the usual MC. He is plagued by endless curiosity, but is visibly held back by his innate laziness.

Great story, less filler both in word count and characters are well done, good grammar, and an exciting premise. The dialogue does a good job explaining the plot/setting the premise. The side characters do have depth to them, even with the few chapters uploaded. All in all, this is an excellently written xianxan novel. I want MOAR!!!
