Chapter 10: Ch 10 : Guiding Sakura (2)

As the notification prompted into Sanada's ear, a slight smile appeared on his face. He just wanted to guide Sakura, and something like increasing affection was just a bonus.
Then, Sanada let go of Sakura's hand and whispered:
" Sakura, now it's your turn to try. Remember, try to keep a calm heart and just be yourself!"
Sakura felt the big warm hand leaving, felt a bit lost, but she quickly recovered and nodded at Sanada's words.
She held the leaf in her hand tightly and closed her eyes as she tried to remain calm.
' Be calm, just let it flow like water, and everything will be fine....'
As Sakura kept having that thought in her mind, she slowly felt the change in the leaf.
The dried leaf slowly got moist, and when Sakura opened her eyes, the leaf now had some water droplets on it.
Sakura looked at Sanada full of disbelief, and..

Sanada was not stingy with his words. He gave a hearty smile to Sakura and pat her head, which even though made her feel a bit embarrassed, but also fill her heart with happiness.
It was the first time Sakura felt like this. The man in front of her was not only handsome but also very dependable and could always fill her heart with warmness.

Sanada was not in a hurry to use the "chakra nature training card from the system." He wanted to let Sakura fully complete the drenching of the leaf all by herself first before using the card to help her through the second phase.
The anime and manga didn't explain the second phase training method of the water element, and even though Sanada had some guesses, he knew that it would be a lot better if he just used the card later.
In the end, the first training session ended as Sanada saw the sun was going to set.
Both Hibachi and Ami successfully climbed half of the tree, and Sakura make some great progress in fully drenching the leaf.

Sakura and the two were discussing their recent mission while waiting for the arrival of Sanada.
" Ahhh!! I want to do some exciting missions, and not just spending my genin life catching cats or picking up weeds!" Shouted Hibachi in frustration.
After the exciting first session, reality quickly splashed cold water on them.
The three thought that their ninja life would be full of battle and exciting missions, but it has been three days, and they haven't done anything other than a few boring D-Rank missions.
Of course, they also have their training session with Sanada in the afternoon, but compared with their expectation, it was pretty lackluster.

' Maybe I should marry Sanada-sensei so I can get to eat his food every day? Bah.. Sakura, what are you thinking! Remember that you have Sasuke, okay? But somehow, Sanada-sensei felt a lot better than Sasuke recently...'
Watching Sakura and Hibachi bickering, Ami could only smile on their side.
