Chapter 106: S2 Ch 14 (Ch 102) : Stone of Gelel
When everything was done, Temari and Sanada had nothing left standing on the warship except them.
The two didn't have any interest in staying here any longer, so without wasting any time, the two went back to the shore, where the sand Ninjas were waiting.
*Swoosh*
The Sand Ninjas saw Temari and Sanada were arriving, and they immediately greeted them. Temari went with the rest of the Sand Ninjas as they were congratulating Temari, while Sanada went for Gaara.
" From your eyes, I see that you have a lot of questions for me.."
Said Sanada as he arrived right next to Gaara, to which Gaara replied with a nod.
" Who are they?"
" I don't know. It is also my first time meeting them."
The conversation was cut off when Sanada said he didn't know. Gaara thought that they were back to square zero, but then, Sanada with a smirk, said:
" But I think I know someone who would guide us to this!"
" ?????? "

- A few days later, Land of Fire -
A battle had just happened in the surrounding area.
Different from the original, where Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru were sent on a mission together. This time, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Uzumaki Karin were on a mission to capture a lost pet ferret and deliver it to its village.
On their way to return the animal, they were suddenly attacked by a group of mysterious men clothed in knight armor.
And just like in Suna, this one too is accompanied by the strange armored soldiers from before.
The three fought him, but different from the movie where the three had a hard confrontation against the group of men in armor, Sasuke, Naruto, and Karin easily handled them this time.
Sasuke was slashing each of the heavy armor with his Hinokami Kagura, Karin with her shadow clone spam, while Naruto handled the man in the knight armor.
" Sasuke, take care of these little minions! I'll go for the big boss!"
" Wait, no! I should be the one that handled the big boss. Naruto, wait!! I said wait!!!"
In the movie, the man in the knight's armor might be a formidable foe. But this time, Naruto just used some of the Taijutsu that he had learned from Sanada and Dobesuke, and he easily subdued him.
Naruto, at this time had progressed a lot more than the original, especially after he faced Urashiki with Dobesuke and the other. Dobesuke might have erased his memories. However, the battle instinct and skill that he embedded in Naruto's body were still there to help strengthen naruto's foundation.
By the time Sasuke and Karin finished handling the minions, naruto also almost finished his battle.
But maybe because of the will of the world, even after Naruto subdued him, the man was still able to detonate his sword, making Naruto and the strange man fall into the cliff, just like in the plot of the movie.
" Sasuke, what should we do?"
Asked Karin to Sasuke as she saw naruto fall into the cliff.

The current was completely different from his original counterpart.
Even though he still had that edginess and avenger part in him, he had walked a brighter path, and it could be said that Sanada's education was pretty much successful.
Sasuke still had that Rivalry with Naruto, but that Rivalry was a good one where they kept trying to get the best of each other. And because of that, Sasuke was the one that understood naruto's strength the most.
The two had sparred a lot of time, and even with Hinokami Kagura, Naruto's compressed Rasengan could still pose harm to Sasuke, and because of that, Sasuke believed that Naruto would not be troubled with such a little accident.
Then, Sasuke proceeded to walk to the bottom of the cliff with Karin.
Even if he tried to act indifferent, the teaching to cherish his comrade that Sanada had left him before was still there, and he just could not leave Naruto in that.
It was such a beautiful love-hate relationship, and if Sanada was here, he definitely would have teased the two of them saying the two should get married soon.
While Sasuke and Karin were going down the cliff, Naruto down cliff found himself and the unconscious knight with a strange caravan.
Just like in the movie, the two were pretty fortunate to be taken by the Caravan after falling down that super-high cliff.
Naruto though, fared a lot better this time. He was able to stay awake until the Caravan took him in, and didn't take that long for him to recover.
Naruto woke up to find himself bandaged, as well right next to an equally wounded unknown man. From what he remembered before he fainted, they have been taken in by a very peaceful caravan of nomads that own a number of foreign animals, including ostriches and rhinos.
" Wake up, young man? Here, come and eat with us!"
