Chapter 459: Blackbeard’s Countermove
The figure of Van Augur appeared back on the MMA as he started to appear by the side of his allies.
They started to disappeared from their position upon being touched by him then his body warped towards another.
It was not long ago that he had rescued others and had began to receive orders from Blackbeard who had recovered a little.
His duty was to save as many of those on their side that he possibly could.
The strange bubble around the bodies of Vasco Shot, Shiryu and Sanjaun Wolf had made it difficult to free them or to get to them without having enough time to figure out how to break them out.
He was a Devil Fruit eater too so he had no choice but to not risk letting himself get close to the bubble prisons that weakened those who were inside of it.
He saw a large armoured figure approaching Pizarro who had been injured then flashed to his side before another bear claw could swipe towards him. "Not so fast!"
The claw missed its target as Pizarro and Van Augur appeared further away before warping back to the ship to drop him off by the side of Blackbeard then he did the same for Lafitte who was saved just in time to avoid a plasma blade that was aimed towards his stomach.
Back on the MMA it had become less crowded within a short amount of time leaving behind the captured Devil Fruit eaters and some injured Blackbeard Pirate cannon fodder that were either too injured to be worth saving or were just considered as useless pawns.
Blackbeard appeared on the MMA as he confronted the crew members of Alyssia as a swirling black vortex of darkness formed on the palms of each hand. "Zehahaha! You fought well but this is the end for you."
A strong suction started to pull towards Archie and Carrot all of a sudden.
Many had been aware that Blackbeard possessed exceptional strength and endurance especially when it came to the grip of his hands.
The power of darkness that drew others into his grasp helped him get his hands on those he wanted to not let them be able to slip away.
Their Devil Fruit powers would be cancelled out right away upon making contact with his palms so it was very dangerous.
Archie and Carrot had their feet rooted to the ground on the deck of the MMA but couldn't help but try to resist the pulling force as they slid across the ground towards him. "Guh..
"This is.."
"Argh!"
Surprise filled their hearts as if they had met something beyond their understanding.
Their feet soon lifted from the ground as their bodies were flying towards Blackbeard.
"Zehahaha!"
Greed and hatred filled the heart of Blackbeard as he had been made aware of the current situation and events.
The appearance of the Quake Devil Fruit had let him know that his failure to acquire it may have had something to do with the White Storm.
The additional knowledge he gained about the Faerie Dragon Devil Fruit had further awakened his greed and ambition.
Even one power that was about to fall into his grasp would be enough for him to transform into a state of power where he would be a formidable existence.
It was why he waited even after his loss of the Quake Devil Fruit to find the best possible power to compliment his Darkness powers.
He thought the Diamond Devil Fruit would cover some of his weaknesses after losing the Quake Devil Fruit but even that had been denied from him by Alyssia.
Mere seconds were enough to let him grab onto his ambitions once again.
It would be his victory and he did not want to waste anymore time losing against the White Storm.
Van Augur was close by him so he would be able to get away quickly once they were in his grasp.
Time seemed to slow down until a large force erupted on the MMA all of a sudden that carried a strong intent and intimidation that even let Blackbeard become fearful of.
A powerful Conquerors Haki erupted as a metal door slid open quickly as everything that was happening.
A wet figure could be seen there for a moment dressed in a casual outfit that was thrown on in a hurry. "That future I saw will not happen."
It was Alyssia who had seen a bad future deep within the healing chamber.
Her future sight had extended past the basic level so she could see a little further so it allowed her enough to to get out and dressed in a hurry to arrive in the deck of the ship in time for it all to take place.
A cruel and vicious look was in her eyes as Electro was released from her body that shrouded her entire body.
It was similar to her use of Elecko technique which surrounded herself in a coating of Electro but had been in a much higher amount which had come from the improvements she had gained from unlocking her Sulong form and maximising the potential of her Electro Core.
The Electro was less controlled than when she used her Elecko technique as each spark jumped towards the nearest attracting force in the surroundings. "Special technique: Raijin Tesla."
The Electro stimulated all of her senses so much that her movement increased to a level thought unimaginable and the world had become slow to her.
The sparks of Electro either clung close to her body or shot out towards any kind of attracting force nearby just like how a Tesla Coil behaved.
The two characteristics encompassed speed and absolute lethality to the point that it could cause those close to her to be hit by the Electro just by being close enough to her.
Her body disappeared from the spot and in the moment that Blackbeard had briefly been stunned by her strong and overpowering Conquerors Haki, she appeared in between him and her two allies.
Her hands reached out towards his wrists at a speed that was difficult to follow then a large wave of Electro spread out from her body towards his body that was in contact with her. "Gyaaaaa!"
A cold look was on the face of Alyssia. "You dare to hurt my dear friends Teach?"
