Synopsis

James graduated from college, majoring in both software engineering and Pre-Med. However, he was not accepted into med school, his main goal. Working for a software engineering company, he is stuck between accepting the current situation and chasing his dreams. This stress causes two different versions of himself to manifest and start living with him as roommates. Both represent a possible future for James, and they live their lives as such, influencing him.

"Created you? How is that even possible?"

Matt looked at me with no hint of humor in his expression. "It's because of your uncertainty towards the future. You can't decide what to do with your life, so you spend every day in misery, questioning your past decisions and cursing your future options. You hate your work but can't find a good reason to quit it. Stuck between the hopes of going to med school and the reality of your current job, your view of the future is split. This inability to choose one of two paths for yourself manifested into Bell and myself, creating two very real people."

A great introspective look at an individual who struggles to find happiness in his own working career and general life. The series explores whether happiness in those two areas coincide or are separate from one another. The 2 split-personalities of the MC have a firm and contrasting set of ideals that give the MC an unfiltered look into his life from both extremes of his psyche so that he can form a compromise that he might be satisfied with. There is great emphasis put behind the 'weight' of change and risk-taking in this series and every pivotal point has both negative and positive affects that are explicitly shown by the reaction of each split personality of the MC and subtly felt by the MC's inner thoughts . The dialogue is witty and never drags out for too long. The side characters really do feel alive, with their own commitments and struggles that show the world doesn't just revolve around the MC. I'm sure you can relate to a lot of them in some way. I look forward to see how much more the characters learn about themselves and grow in the next few chapters.

This book isn't going to be one of those books that changes your view of literature like a clockwork orange but that doesn't mean it's not good. The story is great down to how clever the beginning is, and most of what happens isn't bloated or too empty. I would highly recommend that you pick up this book if you're a fan of just fun writing and characters bouncing against each other in clever and entertaining ways, also we know you like women and this book has it if you're a degenerate like me

This is a pretty good book. The more you read it the more you wanna see what James is gonna do next. It is also interesting learning more about the side characters and what drives them. I love the dynamic between James, Matt, and Bell, and I can’t wait to see how it develops.

So far this series is looking very promising. The premise is intriguing and ties in well to the themes of whether it’s better to adjust to the monotony of daily life or take a large risk to make life better for yourself. I found the characters enjoyable also, especially the main character. He felt very believable, and I found myself relating to his internal struggles. It leaves me very interested to see where his character goes from here. Overall, a very promising start to this series and I look forward to seeing where the story goes.

As someone who just caught up to the story, I'm incredibly excited to see where the story goes next. You can't help but relate to the main character as he questions what to do with his future. Every character has their own flaws imperfections which make them more believable. The story has great pacing and doesn't linger on one particular thing for to long. While the character designs aren't super flashy, they don't need to be, this is a story about average people growing through life. I absolutely recommend this novel and hope readers become invested in this story as well.

Great written story about a person being conflicted on his life actions as he struggles between two worlds and can't match them together. The characters have a great dynamic between each other and are able to bounce between each other with such care that's it's really surprising
