Luke thought in amazement as he was in shock of what had occured. The skills of the fire salamander were inputed into him in the form of data which were later processed into skills. This process was only possible thanks to [Devouring].

Luke was now interested in the overall ability of [Devouring]. He made his move towards a cliff so as to relieve the stress he had gathered while fighting the fire salamander. He decided to continue to feast on the remains of the fire salamander as it was his only meal left in front of him. He tried to analyse his environment as this was the first time he had left the hive's wall. Even though Luke was exiled, he could return after serving his exile. Luke didn't want a distraction as he ate his meal but suddenly, a marching sound could be heard. He turned around only to see more monsters behind.
"I guess I have to deal with them", Luke thought as he manifested flames with the use of [Fire Breath].
There laid many monster remains on the battleground as Luke had annihilated all his threats and were eating them as if he was in a buffet.
"Notice: Luke has reached "Level 6'."
This notice appeared in front of Luke's face but he didn't seem surprised as he had just finished dealing with many threats. Luke stood up and stretched his wings as he began to take off to another side of the outside. He didn't encounter any threat as they were all on the surface while he was in the air, flying with the wind. Soon he reached another region of the outside as this region was covered in snow. He wanted to test the strength of his [Fire Breath] but was immediately disappointed as only a little flame emerged during the activation of the skill. He couldn't comprehend what had happened but before he could, a big ice spike flew towards him.
[Appraisal]: That is a frostbird, it is one of the biggest creatures from the ice region. It specialises in ice attacks therefore it is weak against fire.
Luke didn't even wait for [Appraisal]'s analysis for he took off trying to escape from the frostbird. He kept his other hundred eyes on the frostbird as he tried to outmaneuver it but it seemed more experienced than him in flying as it easily caught up to him. He saw difficulty in outmaneuvering the frostbird but he didn't give up in his retreat even though it was a futile effort. He didn't react early to the frostbird's [Ice Spike] and he was shot down as one of his wings was damaged. The impact from hitting the ground put Luke in a position of not being able to walk or run. While he was unconscious, the frost bird pull his sting out of his body and ate it like how Luke ate the fire salamander. At the moment of his death, time stopped and a voice said in a calm tone.
"[Strike Two] has been acquired".
Fortunately, as Luke's organs were digested by the frostbird, his entire body instantaneously regenerated. He didn't waste time to borrow energy from [Energy Reserve]. In a flash, he was far away from the frostbird, he flew away hoping that the frostbird wasn't behind him. His movement was stopped when he hit a big figure which when he looked at was an owl.
[Appraisal]: That is a Wise Owl. From its name, you should already expect it to be a strong creature as it is wise. It is known for ...
[Appraisal]'s report had stopped as if it were manipulated. When this happened, Luke understood the true power of the wise owl. He planned on escaping but [Energy Reserve] couldn't be activated for some reason.
"This is the ability of my [Zero Bar]", a voice said in a cold tone.
Luke looked at the owl which was now releasing a menacing aura but he didn't hesitate attacking him with [Fire Breath]. None of Luke's skills were working, all were unactive. Luke could tell that it had something to do with [Zero Bar], he therefore stood his ground as he believed in himself. The owl hooted in excitement as he had never fought a serious battle for a long time. With [Sound Projection], the owl increased the level of his voice making the rocks to fall as if they were to collapse. Luke flapped his tiny wings in great speed so as to match the power of the owl's voice. The owl didn't stop there, his voice was increasing every minute. At a moment, Luke thought he was dead as the sound had stopped but he looked up in surprised to see a rock crushing the owl to death. Without any hesitation, Luke immediately ran to eat the owl's raw body.

"What the hell? That owl had strong skills", Luke thought as he devoured the beast.
[Wise Sage]: The owl was made from a fragment of the goddess of wisdom, Winter. Therefore, it possesses great wisdom.
Luke was in shock as he couldn't believe that he had another mind voice. It took him some time to comprehend the situation he was in. Luke immediately decided to visit an old "friend", it was a long flight but Luke finally reached the region of the frostbird.
"Time to deal with this", Luke thought as he was initiating the plan of [Wise Sage].
Luke flew in a certain pattern until the frostbird began to follow him. While he was flying, he activated [Space Vacuum] which was made up of [Black Hole], [Subspace] and [Full Control]. In a second, a black hole appeared in front of Luke, he flew into it and waited for his guest to arrive before starting the show. As soon the frostbird appeared, flame in the form of a trident pierced the frostbird to death.
[Wise Sage]: Magicules are needed to perform magic but for elemental skills, they are needed. So with the help of [Magicule Positioning], the flame magicules were positioned in the form of a trident.
Luke made sure the frostbird was dead before he began to eat it up.
