I decided to read this cause the synopsis was hot (don't judge) but the stories actually decent. The FL is the shy/sweet/innocent type but she's not a pushover, stupid, or annoying. A welcome change to the usual stereotypes that come with innocent characters. The ML is the classic powerful ML but he's not overbearing or overly pushy. He actually has a personality outside his wealth and is funny with a mischievous and dry humor. I enjoy it so far and can't wait for it to fully come out.
This is based on 20 chapters & things could change (so I'll respond to this post & add what I thought about the remaining 20 chapters.) I usually wait until there's 40 chapters but the last lines of the synopsis may put off readers so I wanted to share what I thought so far. Because ML has been unconscious for years & there's all sort of bad rumors about him, FL was forced to marry on behalf of her cousin. Of course ML regains consciousness on the night after the wedding (after she was prompted by his adopted son to kiss him & wake him up like the fairytales.) He's confused upon waking up to a wife but wastes no time in asking her to help him as he's weak & has fun teasing her. When he discovers that she married him on behalf of her cousin, he proposes a contract for them to stay married for 3 years & he will provide help to her family (which is the reason she allowed herself to be forced to marry him.) Though I wouldn't say he has any special feelings for her yet, he is interested by her reactions & loves getting a rise out of her. & I think it's safe to guess that he's going to fall first & be obsessed.
I'm enjoying this one so far💓. I was very apprehensive after reading the synopsis. The whole: 'One of these guns is going to enter your body. Choose it yourself', really scared me 😕. Spoilers of 35 chapers: So first of, this novel has a #r18 tag so it is a bit sexu@l. The ML is a mafia guy who has definitely killed and done some shady stuff. So it stands to reason a man like this isn't really going to care about taking what he wants even if it is a woman's body for his own pleasure. Hense why I did not want to read this novel. So far though, even though the ML is forceful by nature he's in this grey murky area when it comes to his actions. The ML does forcefully kiss her. I really hope to the novel gods that the author does not make a r@pe scene for this novel because I'll be so mad! What balances this out is the fact that he likes to tease her and he cares about her. He's honestly taking it a bit slower compared to some of the dominating ML's I've read about. The author also manages to create good chemistry between the leads💖. The FL as curious by nature. She is also physically attracted to the ML and is not as big as a cry baby as I thought she'd be. She's smart and stands up for herself. I really like her so far. I don't think everyone will like this novel though because of the forced kiss. Read it yourself and see for yourself 🤷🏽♀️. I personally hope that when they do do the deed, it's consensual *fingers crossed*🤞🏽I also hope that the snu-snu scenes will actually be good *cough, cough* 👀 (亝ω亝｡) 💜

Loving this story so far. It's funny and you don't get bored while reading any chapter. ML and FL are awesome and I love when ML tease the FL. This book is full of comedy, love and you will laugh in every chapters. Just love it.😂❤️

I think the story is good overall. Chapters 44 and 45 need a redo I don't understand gibberish but overall pretty good story. I also think the chapter should be longer.
So far this book is promising. The female lead married a man in a coma to provide for her family. Her intentional was to be able to continue her life unencumbered, except for a few additional duties to care for her comatose husband. Fate throws a wrench in her plans for the better. Can hardly wait to read more!

I initially was leery based on the book description, but this is a very cute story! ML teases his wife, but doesn't go too far. So far it's light and lovey dovey and just what I need for some light reading! Hope it gets picked!
This book was annoying. The “crybaby” barely cried, the scene in the synopsis is fake, and the logic is severely lacking. The ML doesn’t seem like a Mafia boss at all. In fact, the author only calls him a mafia boss, but he’s more like a very rich CEO. This book was just a misunderstanding that dragged for way too long, a misunderstanding that wasn’t even logical in the first place. The second FL’s character makes no sense; she’s the biological mother of the child with another man in the Yan family, yet she’s also childhood sweethearts with the ML and ”deserves” to be with him??? She has a whole child with another man? The ML would be wearing the biggest green hat! And FL actually believed that this woman was her legitimate live rival? It’s just too stupid. I finished it because it was super short anyway, so I might as well, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it at all. The translation is spectacular though, I’m sad such a good translation was wasted on this book. I’ll give it 3/10, only because of the translation.
