Synopsis
Twenty years ago, the Gu family’s eldest daughter, Gu Wan, went missing without any news on her whereabouts. The Gu family was left with only the youngest daughter, Gu Chu, so they doted on her. Twenty years later, Gu Wan returned. Gu Chu was thrilled and she showed her sister around the city, even giving her everything she treasured. However, Gu Chu gradually realized that Gu Wan was here to take everything away from her, including her fiance! Their mother said, “We owe Gu Wan all of this. We all do, especially you! Gu Wan only went missing back then because you insisted on having a candy. That’s why Gu Wan went out and ended up going missing! She had suffered for twenty years out there! You will never be able to fully repay Gu Wan what you owed her! Hence, the engagement with the Feng family should be given to Gu Wan!”
Their mother even said, “When we arranged this marriage with the Feng family, although we didn’t specify if it was for Gu Wan or Gu Chu, the elder child should take precedence. Gu Wan should’ve been the first choice. And now that she’s back, she should take what was rightfully hers. What’s wrong with that?” Gu Chu wanted to defend herself. She didn’t understand why Gu Wan would lie because she didn’t go missing because of her. Yet, the man chose to marry her sister, and that was when Gu Chu regained her senses. It was just a man. Men weren’t reliable, so she didn’t want him anymore! Their mother even used their family’s shares to bribe Young Master Feng. However, Gu Chu was surprised when the quiet and unsmiling Young Master Feng suddenly had a change of personality. Three times a day, he would propose to her. Gu Chu asked, “Are you in such a hurry to have a wife?” Young Master Feng answered, “I’ve been planning this for a long time. Please bear with me.” Later on, Gu Chu found out his secret. So he had actually been planning for a long time after all…

Lately all surnames are Gu. The Gu families are all on the rise! [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
This is based on 40 chapters. While I am curious to see if FL's sister is exposed as a white lotus, this story shouldn't be picked over the others on trial read. With the way FL's parents are quick to cast her aside once her sister returns, it makes you wonder if FL is actually their birth daughter. They should know her character best & it's absolutely ridiculous that they would blame her for her sister getting lost when she was only a child when that happened. Though they aren't treating harshly by being abusive with their words or actions, they became indifferent to her & favor her sister over her. Because of this, I can't blame FL too much for being insecure when it comes to her relationship with ML, especially because he isn't doing his best to reassure her. He says he's not involved with her sister (& I do believe he isn't cheating) yet he keeps getting in situations that are easily misunderstood & doesn't bother to explain. From his pov, it could be annoying but, aside from that, his words aren't really loving towards FL. The only thing she can believe in is that he wants her body. When you have two frustrating main characters, it makes difficult to fully enjoy this story. So, I would say it's okay to skip this one.

All I can say is I wish feng Jia wasn't the ML and Gu Chu wasn't the FL. Ml doesn't communicate at all! And Gu Chu felt so stupid at times! She never really put her foot down, she let the ML get away with those stupid nothing's and coincidences. Also ML if so innocent, never really tried to prevent those coincidences even though Gu Chu confronted him so many times. Super super frustrating! None of the characters are likeable, simply none!
The story premise is good however, 20 chapters in, I'm already tired of both the FL and ML. FL is so insecure, she has not trust in her fiancé. If I were him, I wouldn't be able to stand her mood swings. A person can only tell you so many times to trust them. He's not stupid, he knows her "sister" is up to no good. But she can't trust him. He's no angel either. He doesn't explain anything, he seems more interested in her body, or rather, that's the only way he knows to communicate with her. I wouldn't be able to continue with someone who doesn't give any ounce of reassurance except for the fact that he won't dump me because his grandfather has decided I'm to be the granddaughter-in-law. Plus there's the terrible foreshadowing that her mother is not her real mother. I want to save some brain cells so I'll pass on this story. Pity because the story was interesting the first chapters.
Hate it when one sibling pulls the other one down for selfish reasons. Siblings should always support each other. If family members don’t love each other, why expect outsiders to do so. And, as for the Male Lead? Chauvinist! If he loves the Female Lead and wants to keep her, why hurt her? Or why lie and scheme?
The story is not completed , how can it shows completed.. Atleast write some chapters to end the story.. FL was at hospital and somehow we got to know female lead's parents are not her real parents and then thats it..this is not first book where novel is completed without its ending.. If you can't capable of completing one story then why are you writing so many novels Atleast write one novel fully .
Frustrating. I don't know what else to say about this novel. I don't know of there will be a big plot twist in the novel at the later chapters but right now I don't really like the ML. Is it possible that FL is not really the child of her parents?

I really really love this story someone please tell me the raw title of this story. I really want to what ML really thinks of his future and the opinion about of FL , he kinds of love her and care for her but still he was mysterious about some situtation between FL sister and him . I want to see how the FL life changes after the entry of her lost elder sister in her life and their sister past history which is yet to be revealed and revenge plan .The flow of the story was quite good . please pick it up.

The story interesting… im nit really like male lead character but i also think his character is arrogant and bossy boss… hahaha maybe male lead really have that kind of character.. but i can see that he think about female lead too. Female lead i love the most because she not to matyre but nkt too childish too..hahaha just cute in my eye: so please continue this book: im tired to wait few month then i can continue read. Dear author, please do not rest or idle after this
I am sooo soo glad I got to read it on an free day….Otherwise, I would feel a tight slap on the face with the ending that was provided. It was totally dropped and hastily wrapped up by the author. Totally one of the biggest disappointments only because it had so much potential with settings and mysteries that were abandoned in the end. Dont invest your coins and FP.
The translation mixed up the pronouns so many times that I was confused who was male and who was female. The male lead does not seem to be a nice person.
I just want to leave an honest review of this story, this is based on my opinion and standard of my story. I do love the plot of the story because it is not unlike other cliche story that it started off as the two main characters as strangers, but this story isn't, the two had already developed their feelings altho it wasn't clearly explain in the story. I also love the part where the fl is brat in a good way, naughty, and has perseverance, she does not like being step on tho. I kinda unlike the ml a bit because he always unknowingly create misunderstanding to the fl, like why can't you explain directly to prevent quarrel if you don't want to keep on chasing her. But well, it's the flow of the story, and so far aside from that he's good. That's just it, I posted a review so that this could be pick, I really love this.
Till now read till 40 chapters ,all the chapeters are written so well and the story i really loved it till know , there are many things to unfold like the ML is quite mysterious personality ,nd the FL she is independent and have a good attitute i think she might be pregnant i m saying this becoz she had the nauseous sensation but still not yet tested and what is the real relationship between her parents and her elder sisters. Next comes the elder sister she has come back for her revenge but why she wants revenge and plotting against her sister is yet to reveal . and the past has to be unfold . Her parents especially her mother is quite scheming and i started to fell that they are not her real parents . Atlast coming to the relationship between the ML and FL eventhough their chemistry in bed is good and ML cares about FL and FL too cares about ML but i feel the ML is not expressive he knows something about the FL sister but he is not opening up and he is mysterious , he doesn't express his love for FL but still there mysterious plot as to be unviel and i really love this plot till now and hope it gets picked .
There is no proper ending. The author just ended it with so many unanswered questions like she just don't wish to continue writing anymore. Please don't waste ur precious time, coins or passes to read this frustrating ending. 😡
