The beginning just sets the tone so well and really throws readers off by the turn of events! It's so well-written and fast-paced, that I can't get myself to stop reading! I'm excited to continue!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't spit out my morning coffee after reading the last few sentences of chapter two! Wow, I'm hooked! M. Francis Hastings knocked it out of the park with this novel. Reading this author's work gives me flashbacks of diving into Anne Rice's novels for the first time. This is true Paranormal Romance, and it's one of the best stories I've ever read. More, please!!!

If you have ten minutes to read a book, read to the end of chapter two of this one, add it to your library, and come back later. You'll thank me. The line at the end of chapter two is the best line of any book I've read in a long time, and I read a lot of books! Love the story, love the writing, love the author. This is a great one. Definitely worth the coins to read the whole dang thing!
