Chapter 48: WORRIED

"I think you better go home and explain to them what you were doing. Let me go with you. Okay?"

Since Lisa pleaded, Sakura agreed.

When they went out of the apartment, they realized what Mrs. O'Brian said was right. There was a commotion outside.

They found some neighbors outside and the police officers were interrogating them.

When they saw Sakura and Lisa, one of the neighbors asked, "Is this the girl you were looking for?"

The police officers looked at her and matched the picture they had with hers.

One of them asked, "Are you Yoshida Sakura?"

"Yes, what's going on?" Sakura responded timidly. She still didn't trust the police officers.

They said, "Your guardians called the police as you weren't home. We have been looking for your everywhere."

Lisa asked, "What about CCTV?"

"Well, the surveillance cameras aren't working in that part of the area and so we had no clue where she went after coming to the building."
