Synopsis

Three hundred years ago
King Antonio handed the remains of Dumbi to his friend General Cassio Tait as a reward for haven led and won the war against Dumbi.
Dumbi was to remain a subordinate kingdom to Gousho, and the family of Tait would have to bow to the king of Gousho.
The history behind the two families' ties was passed down from one generation to the next. As the years went by, both families grew apart. The Tait family became powerful as they expanded the kingdom of Dumbi, so it was understandable for the royal family of Gousho to feel threatened by them.
To ensure peace between the families and kingdoms, the heads of both families decided to strengthen the bond through marriage.
Princess Jessica Tait, the daughter and only child of King Lorenzo Tait, was to marry the second prince of Gousho, Ethan spurs, who fell head over heels in love with her on their first meeting.
Unfortunately, the young Princess was already in love with Ramsey Balthazar, the son of a small noble family in Dumbi. Her rejection of the marriage proposal pushed the two families further apart, which led to the cold war that claimed her father's life.
After her father's death, Jessica married the love of her life, hoping to lead Dumbi to a greater height and seek revenge against Gousho for her father's death.
Unfortunately, Ramsey only married her for the throne, Stabbing a knife in her heart.

Author-sama, how can you write so well? It's nicely written. Each character is so alive and the plot is so strong. I am very much curious about how would the author progress this novel. Overall, beautifully done!!
Ugh! I knew it that the cousin had bad intention behind the MC, but her secret lover too?! What a bunch of fakes😑Poor Jessica, please listen to your father. Btw, the storyline is really good, so great job author👍🏻

So much thought has been put into the characters. The princess, the king(father) and his brother (general), everyone has their own different personality and their motivations are implied with a proper flow in the writing. The world background, the tension in the empire, the power play and the power hierarchy, were clearly and efficiently embedded into the plot without appearing as info-dumps and that's not an easy task to pull off (trust me, as an amateur writer I've done miserably poor in this department😅). Overall, the story flows seamlessly without any rush or hiccups, and the concept looks fresh too. I wish the author, all the best and hope the novel does really well✌.
Because there are only five chapters, there is not much I can comment on. Despite this, I can tell that the author has a lot of experience because the story flows naturally, and the interactions between the characters are also fascinating. But there's one thing that's bothering me a little bit. I'm not sure whether these five chapters are flashbacks or whether the author intends to skip ahead in time. The storyline at the beginning is a classic storyline, in which the royal family forces their daughter to marry, but the story ends with the daughter escaping with her lover. Because I don't particularly enjoy that kind of plot development, which is what the main character in this story goes through, that's why I asked that question earlier.

Well. That was surprisingly pretty good. Like, everything is great, and the whole plot is also pretty good. However, with just 5 chaps, it is simply too short for a novel of this level Author! WRITE MORE CHAPS AND FASTER!

it is great start not many chapters are there at moment but I request the author to release more chapters soon. so far the story is great the history is written nicely
Author writes well and it was easy to follow. Other than a few spelling error that were super minor- this was overall a well written story. The characters have depth and not 2D and the story lays the foundation of an intriguing plot that is ready to unfold. Though the story is just starting, I'm excited to read more

The characters are nicely written, the plot are well thought out and despite its spelling error it still easily readable. Keep doing your best on this novel
Love the plots and pace! I was completely against King Lorenzo and his persistence to sell his daughter's happiness away. I even initially agreed with the General's words but the twist! Nicely executed for showing Ramsey's true colour right from the start!

There's a few typos that does not affect the beauty of the story one bit. Although I did chose to venture on the first chapters first, reading the synopsis then did tore my heart apart with spoilers :c I'm not into romance, but it's fairly paced and the intensity of emotional moments is heavily worked upon. I like this novel~
