Hello everyone, this is the author here giving his thanks after publishing 200 chapters in total. I appreciate everyone that had given their support on my take of a VRMMORPG Novel that is quite different than most. And by that case, there are some that didn't enjoy it and I'm sorry that the novel isn't to your liking. Now let's go over to what I think are my pros and cons. For Pros: This novel takes the slow-pace route because I'm trying my best to weave a storyline that actually kind of make sense and not rushed things. Hence, some might mistaken me as trying to increase word count or stall purposely to earn more money, but that's not true. I'm really trying my best to write this VRMMORPG genre novel as it's my first attempt ever writing one, so it's given that not everything is perfect. I can only pray that you will give me a chance to improve my writing crafts. For cons: My novel doesn't focused heavily on the player grinding daily but actually brings in some reality to it, and for that, it might bore some readers because I convey the real world and game world. In addition to that, there might be plot holes occasionally since author is a human being too and tends to forget some of the things he wrote. For that, I would be grateful if readers would kindly remind the author and not blast him right away for forgetting things. TLDR: This is written by the author in March 3, 2023 to give his appreciation and thanks toward the readers that have continuously support me.

But did you see that I skipped 6? 10. You checked 11. And saw you that I doubled 10 and skipped 9 12. I said saw you, not you saw 13. I also skipped 1 14. You got tricked 15. I'm just wasting your time... NOW GO AND READ THE STORY!!!
This has got to be one of the most annoying novels I've ever had the misfortune to add to my library. The development is too slow. There are way too many unnecessary bits of info that do nothing for the actual plot. The main character is supposed to be a genius but is portrayed as the dumbest moron you'll ever read about. I wish I could read more but 15 chapters is more than enough for me. Deeply disappointed.
Big fan of this author, I'm expecting great things from him. I hope he doesn't slow down updates on this one though. It's really well written and very high quality.
Hello everyone, I am back with a new novel and this time, it’s a completely new genre compared to my usual cultivation genre. Yes, this is the new trend, MMORPG and I’m joining it with a twist of my own. Therefore, don’t judge it too quickly without reading a few chapters and give this book a chance. And finally, this is me shamelessly asking for powerstone, review, and even gifts. Yes, I’m that shameless and you should know it by now. Though if you have any questions or doubts, reply below but be warned, I might not really answer truthfully and it could also be really vague.
I liked Zhen, his character seemed believable, and you could relate to him pretty often, but lacked emotion in places. The story itself is interesting and engaging, compared to other wn novels this one is above average. The author manages to give the chapters cliffhangers that make you want to scroll down and read on. There were also some questionable parts, I will not spoil the fun but make you read it for yourself to understand what I was talking about. The grammar was fine, the paragraphs not too long and the chapter length comfortable to read. I can’t give you 5 stars because not a single novel is worthy. 🙏🏻 Meow 🐈⬛
Weak world building. Lots of cliches. The MC's motivation is a travesty. Supposedly motivated by making money in the game, but he has never once actually tried to figure out making money. Has a part time job and that's supposed to support him and his 'non-biological sister' (yes... another sister not related by blood) He doesn't seem to have any angst over this once he starts playing, it's just tossed to the side as more women line up around the MC. Yes...it's another one of those where women are almost always good and men (aside from possibly the elderly and maybe little kids) are BAD. If it is going to be a harem then the author really needs to put that tag. Someone mentioned how the rules of this 'game' that had only been in existence for 4 years were being used on a MEDICAL EXAM? Yes you have to give the author room but you can't expect us to throw away our brains completely, you need to give a realistic reason or it is just not going to work. Works at a brick and mortar convenience store....that specializes in this virtual reality game? Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense unless it's just for marketing purposes I guess. You can expect to have to suspend your disbelief on a fantasy novel, but the logic still needs to be there.

I'll keep it short, the author is either a troll or has nil experience in all the tags on this story. This story is logic-free and every single detail in it is worthy of a bucket of cringe.Mc character: idiotic. Game mechanics: wacky at best. World building: kindergarten-level imagination. Plot: Don't know. My braincells lost weight after reading though. Read at your own risk.I really wanted to like the story but i failed. I wish you good luck in that endeavor!
I'm absolutely addicted to this ongoing WebNovel! The author's writing is so descriptive that I feel like I'm right there in the story with the characters. The world-building is so well-crafted and the characters are so relatable that I'm emotionally invested in their journeys. I can't wait to see how this story ends and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves an ongoing read!

The world-building of the game, Magnolia, is also well-established, with the incorporation of the VRMMORPG aspect and the existence of different game classes for players to choose from. The concept of Unique Classes, obtainable through hidden missions and story quests, adds an additional layer of mystery and excitement for players. The system within the game is also well-explained, with the use of equipment providing bonus stats and the function of the scanner during character creation. However, the occurrence of the bug that transported Lei Zhen to the high-level Lux Forest raises questions about the reliability and stability of the game. One constructive criticism for the novel would be the lack of description and detail in the setting and environment of Lux Forest. While it is mentioned that the area is filled with greenery, more specific and immersive descriptions of the surroundings would further enhance the reader's experience and understanding of the character's location. Overall, the first five chapters of this novel have successfully drawn me in as a reader and piqued my interest in the story. I am excited to see how the plot progresses and how Lei Zhen's character will develop in the immersive world of Magnolia.
okay so I'm not always write a review but this book somehow makes me wanna write one, but not for a good reason. there's several reason that makes me write this 1. the inconsistency for the sake of the plot: I read how this was the author first take on game element story but can author make it more consistent, for example the effects of multiplying of the CCed time that somehow not trigger and the author said it's gonna be explained in later chapter, I mean you can said that's a requirement to trigger it when you first give that passive don't need add a mystery like this is a game story that bound to have explanation of the skill unless like requirements of the exp since it's related to job then I'm okay with it but skill one? yeah, I mean there's some game that have hidden mechanic for the skill but not with passive skill since it's passive. 2. next one how a game that only around for 4 years can affect real life? yeah sure you can exchange currency but it's normal but making doctor exam with game knowledge? that's kinda absurd. Unless the game affect reality and its integrated then fine. but how can game knowledge save someone life? only this two reason is enough to make it annoying yeah the writing quality is good but the world building and the consistency? (idc about there's irl stuff and such because I enjoyed but the moment you incorporate it and ruined it that's the problem you must solve)

Even though the author is not a piece of art, his creation certainly is. Crowd Control is a unique MMORPG amongst all MMORPGs I've read in my life. Give it a try and you will be able to see for yourself!

Storyline was good. Got me hooked. There was no such errors. I liked the Mc development. It's not too slow and not too fast. Updating stability is also good. Good job author!
Here's a review. I've read the chapters released, and it's pretty good. Shame about the long break, that dropped the updates down to 4, but since you came back a pretty stable release. The story, characters and writing quality are above average for WN. Take a gander, I am sure you will have a nice evening of reading! Who knows, you might love it and await the daily releases! Just finished Chapter 47 and am current on the novel so I figured now would be a good time to submit this review. Idczhen has shown numerous times that he understands a great plot with amazing characters time and time again and Crowd Control is no exception! Please note that there are extremely minor spoilers ahead. Writing Quality: 4/5 - Zhen has improved LEAPS and BOUNDS compared to Luck is a Charm, but there are some minor tense issues that could have made a sentence flow better and be read easier. Besides this, the quality of writing in Crowd Control is definitely far above the average of any story on WN. Stability of Updates: 5/5 - Not taking into account the uh... hiatus, Zhen has always been consistent on his daily uploads. Nothing much to say here. Story Development: 5/5 - The futuristic world of Earth in 2089 in Crowd Control is your pretty standard and typical MMORPG setting; however, that is pretty much where the comparisons end. The story so far is very interesting and compelling. Get in for a long haul, because this story is paced slow, but at the same time, the plot is strong, really drawing the reader in. Character Design: 5/5 - Lei Zhen, our MC, comes from pretty standard background, deceased parents, he's all on his own. His younger sister has been in a coma for a very long time and that is his drive. His role as a Crowd Controller is a unique class and very little is known. I am very interested to see how he will develop. The current supporting cast is extremely well developed. Relationships are already being tested and it is soo juicy and dramatic and I cannot wait! World Background: 5/5 - The game, Magnolia, takes an interesting approach toward the MMO genre. Having been the #1 VRMMORPG for the last 4 years, our MC is the first person to stumble upon the Main Story, completely changing the game as everyone knows it! The established lore is deep and Zhen has done an excellent job at creating unique spins for this wonderful virtual world. Don't take this to mean that he has ignored the futuristic 2089 either! The real world has been explored a decent amount at this current point as well. Overall: 4.8/5 - Crowd Control has everything that you hate to love, love to hate, and all the things you love to love! This is an excellently written novel with one of the best designed MMO game I've ever read about. The cast is diverse and still growing, each bringing great conversation and dynamic reactions on the entire app. This is absolutely a must read novel!
