Exposition, what is with people and telling everyone what's happening in the story vs showing? Maybe I'm too much of a western story teller for my own good, but exposition kills my interest in a story. Let me get to know the characters and experience the world through their eyes, not yours.
The absence of light is gloom, greyish skies, enslavement, no free will. Jupiter has instructed them, they are going to dine with the danger outside of Mediopolis.
The writing quality was what got me interested in this book... It was refreshing to read a unique plot like this one... keep it up!!! im rooting for you!
