The story of a knight who has fallen in love with his queen. It was nothing but that, a simple plot for a fairytale, or was it?
He stood proud at seven feet, everything looked minuscule in his sight. He towers above all knights who looked at him with disgust and alarm.
He was one of the rebels not long ago, but for an undisclosed reason, he has betrayed his so-called 'brother at arms' for a seat at the round table.
People murmured whenever he passes them by, the atmosphere itself was laced with terror as this all muscled barbarian held his head high. Panic in the hearts of many was evoked by his presence alone as he stood before the queen who was forced to face him.
"My queen," he knelt before her, and even yet the queen had to look up from her throne to meet his eyes. The frail queen was very small compared to him, her fragile countenance barely reached five feet and her innocent face makes her look like a child.
He took in the vision of her as she sat there, trying to look brave as she met his eyes. His queen, the reason why he risked it all and will risk it all again.
She sat on the throne judging his motives and all the while fearing him. Was she disgusted by him too? He can't tell.
The crowd disappeared and all thoughts from his mind were gone as he was faced with her.
She has dark auburn hair that reached past her shoulders, small lips that curled into a thin smile, and eyes that expressed her immense disgust and anger for what she had labeled him in her mind - one of the reasons for the destabilization of her kingdom.
He wants it all, all of what she offers. Her beauty, her brilliance, her frailties... at that moment he realized, he wanted all of her.

Oh my gosh, another new book from this amazing author, I love all her books and are in my library including this. She is one of the greatest authors I have known and has great imaginative and narration skills. I'm so proud of you author good luck and congratulations. Kudos author!
i really love it from writing to characters and the plot it was really exciting as i was reading it, i am waiting for the next chapter and what will happen next <3 ( the guy looks hot on the thumbnail frfr )
Simply put, brilliant! Love the plot. The forbidden love story is said to be hard to pen, but thus is so captivating. Just look at the ML, he's just apathetic, brutal and all. But for the innocent yet charming queen, he's ready to risk it! Literally love the dynamics. Looking forward to the next development. The surroundings gets captured well in this storyline, making it more than 'just another romantic story'. And not to mention, there's a tragedy tag. It's no wonder I highly recommend it.
I rarely read FL books. This one, though, yes, it has me hooked. What I like is the contrast depicted between the two lead characters. It is as if they are the Ying to each other's Yang.
I really loooooooooovvvvvveeeee the plot with interesting characters. Hope to read more of the chapters soon. The author never failed to impress me with her works and this was my second time reading a book from a same author😁Kudos to the author👏👏👏👏👏

I thought the story would go slowly but it pickles up from the second chapter itself. I couldn't drop till the last chapter.But unfortunately, this only has five chapters. We as readers need to give more attention and support to hidden gems like these. If you’re looking for a good novel to read, I’d definitely recommend this. Check it out and thank me later

Amazing start author, the first chapter was mind-blowing,I didn't even realize I was done with all the five chapters, it was well written and the characters are well designed too I already find myself rooting for Dominus, soon enough the queen will not be able to resist him, I'm rooting for you,keep updating author, I'm expecting more of this.

Fell in love with the book from the summary only, the plot is amazing, it still might be too early to tell as not a lot of chapters have been updated but I am willing to take a risk, if you like the royalty genre this book is probably for you. And I think the summary can explain this novel better then I will ever be able to.
I love the words used in every conversation, the tune, and generally the way it was written. The first few chapters and it's already giving me shivers. How more the future chapters, I am expecting it to be more intense. I'm sure it will.

The writing quality for this novel is extremely good, while the start was simple and easy to understand. Really hoping for the upcoming Chapters.
I love the novel so far, the way and development is on point, like omg chefs kiss, I have been a fan of their works for a while and I can say they improve and are one of the best authors I have read of.
A good start. The plot appears simple, but I'm sure it would be a rollercoaster. We just have to sit right and watch the story unfold. The dialogue is great and real and the worldbuilding is imaginable. Nice one, author.
