Chapter 11: Breakfast
"How many Celestial Points are required to increase my cultivation base?" Alan asked Zila.
'Currently, only 500 Celestial Points are required to increase the host's cultivation by a small rank. However, to break through a major rank, the host requires double the Celestial Points!'
"Use 2000 Celestial Points and boost my cultivation to the 5 Star Bronze Rank," Alan ordered Zila.
Alan saw 2000 points getting deducted from the total number of Celestial Points. Suddenly, a burst of pure energy was available to him within his body.
That pure energy was absorbed immediately by the Heavenly God Technique. Alan could feel his Soul Force breaking through rank after rank. The sensation was completely euphoric.
It took just one hour for him to reach the 5 Star Bronze Rank. Alan spent the rest of the day trying to stabilize his new cultivation base. Fortunately, he had Zila to assist him in controlling his Soul Force.
He was now proficient enough to control his Soul Force and use it to attack others. But this wasn't enough for Alan. He wanted to practice against a real opponent.

Alan planned to gather information regarding Chen Linjian and attack him. However, something surprising occurred on the next day.
Xiao Ning'er appeared and stood next to him. She had a flushed look on her face as she spoke, "…I made breakfast for you. But since I didn't know what you liked to eat, so I made a couple of sets. I hope you like it."
The entire class was startled at what they saw and heard.

Alan raised his brow upon reading the last notification.
He stared in Xiao Ning'er's direction and kindly smiled before speaking, "Sure. Let's see what it is."
He opened the box and soon saw a bunch of compartments with different kinds of pastries inside it.
Now, Alan was a foodie. And he had always liked sweet stuff. One of his weaknesses you could say. So, he was really delighted to see his favorite stuff inside the box.
With a delighted look, Alan told Xiao Ning'er, "Thank you. I love pastries! Why don't you sit down? Let's eat it together."
"En," Xiao Ning'er spoke, her face turning redder with each passing second, but she sat down next to Alan.
They picked up a pastry of their own and started eating. After taking a bite, Alan looked at Xiao Ning'er's hand and asked her, "Let me take a bite of that one. I am curious about its flavor."
Xiao Ning'er couldn't find it in herself to reject Alan's request, "Alright."
Soon, they exchanged their pastries. But she was extremely conscious of this fact and kept on staring in Alan's direction.
She saw Alan take a bite of that pastry from exactly the same side as Xiao Ning'er had done. There was a delighted look on his face as he commented, "This is really delicious."
Alan began to lick his fingers to savor its taste.
"C-Can I take a bite too?"
The entire class heard that feeble voice and it caught their attention. Alan looked in that direction and noticed it came from Ye Ziyun.
An uneasy look appeared on Xiao Ning'er's face, but she concealed it fairly quickly. Alan turned in Xiao Ning'er's direction and seemed to be asking permission from her. These were made by her after all.
"…Alright," Xiao Ning'er soon responded.
A bright smile appeared on Ye Ziyun's face as she heard Xiao Ning'er's words. She came a little closer to Alan and picked up a pastry before eating it. She found the pastry extremely delicious and was left licking fingers as well.
However, Alan had a smile on his face as he felt Xiao Ning'er sit even closer to him. There was almost no distance between herself and Alan.

Alan thought about it for a bit before accepting this invitation. He put Chen Linjian's beating on hold for now.
