Chapter 279: Merciless act

Stepping out of the shop with a bright smile on her face, her eyes looked at the man who was soon going to be her husband. Her happiness had no boundaries and she wanted to scream to the entire world about her auspicious day.

Standing on the pathway, Alice looked across the road where Noah stood leaning on his car. The charming smile on his face didn't falter and nor did his eyes ever dart from her even for a second.

Taking a step she tried to reach him when suddenly she was thrown far away and everything turned dark within a second.

"Noah..."Alice screamed in her sleep and snap open her eyes only to find herself on the hospital bed.

'Was it a dream' she thought as she moved her eyes, trying to calm herself when she heard Noah's worried voice.

"Alice" the moment he heard Alice scream in her sleep, he jolt from his slumber only to find her breathing heavily on the bed.
