Running around the training hall that is full of mist, I griped the katana on my waist while channeling mana to enhance my sense.
Suddenly a girl with silver hair appear from beyond the mist and shot towards me holding her rapier.
Using my katana, I block while countering with a quick horizontal slash. The girl stepped back barely dodging my attack and cast her magic.
[Custom Magic: Ice Aura Spike]
In an instan 5 spikes of ice coated with aura shot towards me. Reacting to the attack I focus my mana towards my eyes activating God's Eyes enhancing my sense to the limit.
The Ice Aura that was faster than the speed of sound is now slower than a turtle making it easy to deflect.
'No matter how many times I see it, this skill is overpowered' (Ray)
He thought to himself as he deflected all the ice spike, even so Laila didn't stand still and waited. She charged towards me while I was blocking her ice spikes. She then unleashes flurries of stabs to my vital points.
Countering her, I efficiently re directed and blocked every part of her attack with the help of
<God's Eyes>.
As she also had the same skill, we are unable to lend any attack on each other.

'That's one annoying eyes, not that I could complain since I had it too' (Ray)
We exchange 528 strikes in a measly 10 seconds, in the eyes of spectator it will look like we are standing still with blurred arms moving too fast. The friction of our sword clashing causes a mix of purple and blue sparks.
**Boom!!
At the end of our exchange, a tremendous shockwave spread from the middle of the training hall cracking some part of the floor.
'Holy shit!! She almost broke my weapon. If I didn't used my scabbard it would be my lost' (Ray)
Crack~
"Eh?" (Laila)
Hearing the cracking sound, the girl looked at her rapier.
"It cracked...." (Laila)
Seeing her contorted face, I sighed in relief as I spoke to her
"It's your fault letting me hit the same part of your rapier, you forgot we don't have our soul weapon yet" (Ray)
"I already tried to prevent you from doing that!!" (Laila)
"Tsk tsk tsk you need to train more, isn't breaking other weapons your specialty?" (Ray)
"You cocky little b*stard, your weapon would have broke with just one more stab to your stupid sword! If you didn't block with your scabbard your sword would definitely broke more then mine" (Laila)
"But it didn't broke, either way my sword scabbard is a part of my sword so don't make up excuse" (Ray)
"F*ck! I was so close on winning too... I surrender this time" (Laila)
Just when she surrendered, my katana broke
Seeing this Laila gaze at my sword and smiled
"Your sword broke~" (Laila)
"It's because I unfocused my aura, If you unfocus your aura your rapier would broke sooner than mine" (Ray)
"Hehe, Your sword actually broked" (Laila)
Seeing her happy face I could only bitterly sighed, not letting her have her moment I asked a question
"So, have you reached your level cap?" (Ray)
"Yep" (Laila)

When using this skill the user could switch bodies with their partner after getting consent. When switching bodies, the body's special trait will be switching with each other. Will get stronger as Synchronize becomes stronger.
As this skill level increases, more active skills will be unlocked.

Will allow the user to increase your level and power temporarily by using the user data of Arcana Online. The user will retain all skill and appearance data from Arcana Online for 5 second upon activation. After using this skill, the user will be in an exhausted state for 10 hours.

Able to see more information when looking at something, when channeling mana to the eyes one could pierce illusion and see the truth.
(First Function) The user will be able to see everything in slow motion depending on the mana used.

When the two are talking about their growth, Mina came in bringing some towel and drinks
"Don't you two get tired training for so long? Miss you don't need to work too hard, the same also goes to you Prince, you can't force the miss to train for too long. You two have sparred for 14 hours every day only stopping when eating" (Mina)
She complained with a worried face while giving the towel she brought

Looking at the young couple, she sighed...
"Oh right, I forgot to tell you that we both will be ascending rank today" (Ray)

Hearing our synchronized answer, she was reminded of how monsterous our talent was, just remembering their first spar sends chills down her spine. Her common sense was already broken when Laila awakened with a class even so they are broken again by this event.
'What kind of monster are they to reach A rank at 8 years old? Could they be an incarnation of god?' (Mina)
Cutting her delusion Ray spoke to her
"Why am I not seeing Anna lately, I remember hearing that she went on a mission but this is actually too long" (Ray)
"About that, she is delayed because of there were some problem in the mission" (Mina)
"What kind of mission would take her this long?" (Laila)
"Thats... I actually don't know, all I know is that they are clearing a dungeon at the northern sea" (Mina)
"The northern sea huh..." (Laila)
"That's right, you two don't need to worry we will be able to meet her on the way to Arcana Academy" (Mina)
"15 more days huh..." (Laila)
"Mina, tell the head butler Fredrick to set up a ascension room using the elven tear and ancient dragon heart" (Ray)
"What!? No you can't use those treasure it's too risky, the energy concentration is too high failing might cripple both of you!!" (Mina)
"We know about the risk, but we have a way" (Laila)
"We are going to enter the room together and use a trick" (Ray)
"You can't, I won't allow it" (Mina)
"Please trust us Mina, we promise you that we will succeed" (Laila)

"If you don't belive use try unleashing your aura, If we faint we won't use the treasure but if we could withhold it let us do it" (Ray)
"... I think both of you underestimate me too much" (Mina)
"We are not underestimating you, we propose this condition knowing your aura. The aura of an assassin is usually more fierce and sharp then other" (Laila)
"This also serve as a test to see if we could pull this off" (Ray)
Looking at our determined face, she finally gave in
"Fine I will do it so...." (Mina)
Mina eyes started to grow cold, as an oppressing aura start to weight down on our body
"Don't regret your decision" (Mina)
She said blankly with an emotionless face. With that final warning she released her SS rank aura and bloodlust toward us.
"Ugh!!" (Ray)
"Aghh!!" (Laila)
The duo groan while keeping their smile, in the face of the powerful aura they don't feel any fear instead they feel excited.
How long has it been since they felt this excitement?
Back in the game the highest raid boss level SSS ranked. They are able to solo the boss because of their strength.
The only time they ever feel this excited is when they face each other or when they face an absurdly strong enemy.
(It's been so long since I feel this way) (Ray)
(The last time was when we two are facing an army with 7000 Ranker) (Laila)
Seeing us still standing, Mina increased her aura output to the maximum. She was already convinced when they withstood her aura the first time but she wanted to test their limit, how strong will they become, how much could they withstood?
Feeling the increase of mana, the two start to release all their aura to lessen the oppression
"Haaaaa!!!!!!" (Laila & Ray)
Crack**
The floor started to crack as it can't handle the burden
After 5 minutes Mina retracted her aura

The duo slumped immediately because of exhaustion
"Haa... Haa... Ha..." (Ray)
"Ha... Haa... So we... pp-passed right...." (Laila)
Gazing at the two kids in front of her, Mina let out a bitter smile as she said
"You two are monsters..." (Mina)
"I'll..... take that..... as a yes" (Ray)
'If it's this two, they will succeed' (Mina)
"I'll tell Fredrick to do as you said" (Mina)
She said while walking out of the room
"Oh and..... Don't fail no matter what" (Mina)
With that word, the two smiled at each other before passing out

Note: This is one especially long chapter, there are quite some infromation to cover just like the last chapter.
Because it's still early into the story there will be many information about random stuff in the chapter, don't worry about this as I will focus more on the character story in the future.
