Chapter 6: Family Dinner
They all sat while the dishes were being served for them. All the maids were present to welcome their young master back after so many years. Only Vionna was absent but it wasn't to the notice of everyone due to the happy ambiance, Except Mia who was always conscious.Thats why the position of the head maid was given to her.
"Mom were is Dad?" Liam asked.
"He called dear, he will be here in no time and don't worry we can start without him. You kids should be hungry by now. Mia serve the meal." Catherine ordered.
Mia and Tania immediately went forward after Catherine's instruction.
Mia first of all served Liam before going over to Catherine by her instruction.
While Tania served Zeke. Her eyes was all on the blondie. She was wondering who he was, not only her but all of them. They have never seen or heard about him before, thus came the mystery.
Nevertheless they did their job in serving the finally reunited family.
Not long after, a car pulled up in the driveway.
"Your Dad is here." Catherine said with a more broaden smile. Now they were complete.
The sound of emerging footsteps was approaching nearer. Not long after a man with sturdy and huge build made an appearance. It was no one else but Christian Liu. Sure enough that was where Liam got his nice physique from. He did well at maintaining his body at such age.
"Dad, Uncle." Liam and Zeke both stood to greet the Master of the house.
"Kids! how have you guys been?" Christian said with a welcoming smile.
"We are good uncle. What about you? How have you been?" Zeke asked.
"As you can see son I'm doing great." Christian replied with a grin.
Of course everyone on the table knew that Liam is not a vocal type so his silence was understood.
"Son! how have you been?" Christian asked, directing his question at Liam this time.
"Alright Dad." Liam plainly replied.
"That's good to know, I hope your stay there was great."
"Yes it was Dad. You took care of Mom really well, I appreciate." Liam replied.
Liam words made a proud blush to appear on Catherine's cheek. She felt like lifting her shoulders up telling everybody that her son cares about her.
This made the maids present erupt with silent giggles when the caught the reddish Hue on the Mistress face, Even Mr Liu can't elicit such reaction from her. Truly her son's are her happiness.
"Yeah son, she's my wife as well of course I have to take good care of her especially when you are absent to do so." Christian said with a laugh.
Liam nodded while Zeke listened to the father and son duo with a smile.
"Come eat, dinner is ready." Catherine Called out to her husband, inviting him.
"Sure, I will go freshen up and be down in no time." Christian replied.
"Alright be quick." Catherine replied watching christian make his way up.
"You guys are enjoying the meal right?" Catherine asked to make sure everything was alright.
"Yes aunty, it's really nice I will like to thank the person who made this, it's delicious." Zeke said.
Tania was all faced down when she heard Zeke's words. She was the one who made that particular meal he was eating.
"Oh why not, Mia?" Catherine called out.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Who was it that made this?" Catherine asked Mia.
"It's Tania ma'am" Mia responded.
"Wow Tania, come on step forward." Catherine said turning towards the place they were all standing.
"You made this?" Catherine asked with a slight smile pointing to the dish.
"Yes ma'am." Tania replied.
"It's really nice and my nephew really liked it. Good job." Catherine said encouragingly.
"Thanks ma'am but it wasn't only me though, the others helped as well." Tania said with a nervous smile.
Catherine just nodded to her words before continuing with her meal.
So he was the Mistress's nephew. But he doesn't look like someone from the country or even someone related to Liu's.
Tania gave a glance to him but was surprised to see him already looking at her. Without a second thought she looked away.
Christian came down after some time, joining them in dinner as the talked and discussed more with more laughter and fun. Not without dismissing Mia and the rest so they could have a break from the long preparations.
On the way to their Quarters Sandra asked. "Guys have any of you seen Vionna?"
"No why?" Gwen asked.
"Haven't you guys notice she has not been in sight since she went into the Young Master's bedroom." Sandra continued.
"She must be in her room right now stressed out by All the work." Jas said.
"Jas is right, she must be tired we better not disturb her, we can speak to her tomorrow." Mia said to them and they all reached the quarters, separating to thier different bunks.
"Tania what's the matter?" Alexa asked after noticing Tania's rare mood.
"Huh! nothing." Tania replied shaking her heads sideways.
"You sure?" Alexa wanted a confirmation.,
"Yes don't worry. Looks like the young Master arrival suddenly made you so caring." Tania said with a little smile pushing Alexa forward.
"Yeah sure." Alexa giggled.
Not long before Alexa left to her bunk bed, Tania's expression changed back to how it was before. Lost! 'What am I thinking?' She whispered to herself.
Back at the dinner hall. Everyone were done with their meal, they all sat chatting about various topics. Except Liam of course, the quiet one. Zeke did all the talking When suddenly. "We will be going to bed now Mom, Dad see you tomorrow." Liam said while standing up.
"Alright dear, oh and Zeke?"
"Yes aunt." He responded.
"Your room is still the usual, kept and tidy." Catherine said with a fond smile at the two of them.
"Thanks aunty." Zeke replied before charging up the stairs with Liam who was already ahead of him.
Zeke's room was just two doors away from Liam's but on the same lobby. They both wished each other good night before they separated into their various corners.
Liam was already standing at the door of the room. He was expecting it to be locked. But he came in view with a key stuck in the door which means that it was left open.
And he hated his things not going to his liking, his expression already turned cold and darken. He held the handle and pushed it open.
He slowly walked in, everything was clean and fresh, just how he liked it. Maybe it was the maid who cleaned the room up that forgot to lock it up before leaving.
He made a note to sound a warning to such maid. He hates forgetful people.
Just when he proceeded his steps further inside, he came across a silhouette of a woman laying down comfortably on his bed. Confused was an understatement. And within seconds he felt anger bubbling within him.
