Chapter 79: Not Fated To Be Together

Although Michael had asked for every single article about the party to be taken down from the internet, most people in Lake City had already heard about what happened. There were many discussions going on about the relationship between her, Michael, and Yvonne on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. 

Most people believed that Wendy was not qualified to be Michael's wife. Otherwise, it did not make sense for Michael to have abandoned her that night.

Wendy had long grown numb to this. She continued scrolling through TikTok. She could hear Michael pacing outside her door from time to time. She did not know what exactly he was doing either.

The following morning, she opened her door to see a huge bouquet of roses. The roses looked fresh, and there were water droplets clinging to the petals. She frowned and was soon greeted by the sight of Michael's face.
