Chapter 13: What is in for me?
"I got that you took us to eat but... what are you doing here?" Saitama asked Daiki that was sitting not far from him, drinking some water served to him by his now best boy Genos.
"Well, Thank you for your hospitality." That was all Daiki said.
He didn't really have anywhere to go right now, if he put in some effort he could most certainly find somewhere to sojourn but he found being with the main character way more interesting.
He was not traveling between realties to become stronger or anything as he was sure he could be quite a powerhouse in his own way already, what he is looking for is an adventure and discovering new and interesting things.
"You didn't answer... I won't let you stay here rent-free!" Saitama said "Look at Genos! At least he is doing something!" And Genos also gave him a ton of money...
"Hm... In this case" as Daiki said, his shadow expanded and three shadow soldiers came out. "Those guys will happily help." He said pointing at the soldiers behind him."
"That..." Saitama was going to retort but imagining how much easier his life would become. "Welcome then!" He welcomed his new roommate.
"And, you don't have to worry, I don't plan to stay for a long time, just occasionally pass by." Daiki said making Saitama worry. "But those guys will stay here, of course, they are not that strong anyway." much to the baldie's relief.
"You can take the last available room then, Genos will show you." Saitama said, cleaning his hand from any work.
"This way Daiki-san." With Genos leading the way, Daiki soon arrived at his assigned room and after thanking Genos, he went to take a shower.
Although he didn't particularly need it since he was in his spiritual form most of the time, he just liked the feeling of water on his skin, it was just an enjoyable feeling.
After that, he sat, on the blanket Genos posed on the floor for him, since there was no time to bye a bed yet, and he also didn't take any money with him...
He expected to find himself in a fantasy world or something not in One Punch man. Truly it was a surprise but a welcomed one for sure.

Otsutsuki: A race of Alien beings from a particular reality, they have many different perks and characteristics, which range from a longer lifespan, unique optical power, and absorption.
conceptual AI: An Ability from a particular reality, it acts as a highly advanced computerized conceptual intelligence system that aids the user. It possesses many supporting abilities such as self-healing, scanning, transfer, and emergency defense mode.
'Once again they are all good rewards but I can only choose one. Hm....'
Daiki started thinking about it, 'The hand is from Jojo, and it's good but I can probably bend or slice through space with raw power alone so I pass.'
'Otsutsuki physiology, from naruto, it's good, but not as good as the burning martian physiology I passed the last time. Also, I don't know the repercussion it could have on my body. I am already the fusion of many races.'
'Conceptual Ai is really appealing, if it's anything like Great sage for tensura, it will become one of my best assets... So the third option it is.' Daiki made his choice and clicked on it.

"A letter huh... Let me guess, they are inviting me or something?" He asked as he kept eating.

"You think they would hold you countable for what you did?" Saitama interjected by asking a question. But he was not really concerned.
"And what did I do exactly?" Daiki shot back, but the bald man just shrugged and kept eating.
"Hm... I do have an idea of what they want." Daiki didn't elaborate. He planned to take a look at least after eating anyway.
And he did, to put it simply, they want to invite him over to thank him for his assistance during the invasion and a couple more things. The rendezvous is for this evening, or he could also choose another date he wanted.
'Let's just meet them and get done with it.' Daiki thought. He decided to meet them and hear what they got to say.

Later this day, Daiki was in one of the meeting rooms of the Heroes Association, he was Sitting on a chair, and facing him were three people, 2 middle-aged men, and a woman. He could also feel the presence of more people not far away observing them.
One of the men behind the desk was holding a screen facing him, on it was replaying some of the events of the day prior. The fallen monsters transform into shadow soldiers, and Daiki splits the spaceship with a clean strike.
"Mr. Daiki, do you confirm that this is your doing?" One of them asked.
"It certainly is..." Daiki confirmed as he squinted his eyes a little. "But while that's the case, this was not supposed to be the object of the meeting right?" He asked.
"Y- you are right" They suddenly became nervous. The pressure that exudes from the man in front of them was considerable.
"We are certainly thankful for your help during the incident Mr. Daiki." Another one of them said, as he was the first one to recover his bearing, he was also the most experienced.
"That's also why we would like to offer you a place in the association as an S-class Hero." He proposed.
"Hm..." Daiki took a hand to his chin, seemingly thinking about their Offer much to their joy since he didn't immediately refuse.
"It's indeed a good offer, since becoming an S-class hero does have many benefits." He finally said. Making the other sign in relief.
"But..." Daiki paused and took a better look at the people before him "I don't particularly need those benefits, so I would like to ask, what else is in for me?" he sat more comfortably as he asked.
Behind him, in his shadow, many eyes could be seen, attentively observing the association members and that they somehow remarked. The pressure on them amplified several folds.
"W- what is it that Sir Daiki would like?" The most experienced one asked as even he couldn't keep his calm more at this point.
"See, I have a particularly useful ability that let me turn the deads to my loyal soldiers." Daiki casually said, they saw it already anyway.
"In this case, We have some monster corpses conserved in a warehouse owned by the association."
"As they are used for research purposes, we only have had about fifteen demon ranks and two dragon ranks."
They couldn't keep a higher number of them for diverse reasons, so this was all, they could offer to him in addition to the normal benefits.
"That's enough already, I will be waiting for my hero license." I got up and walked to the door before halting his step. "Also, I believe that you won't give me too embarrassing of a Hero name!" Letting those words he took his leave. He wasn't in a hurry to get new Shadow soldiers, they would take him to the monster corps when they were ready.
'Lune, have you finished calculating if it's possible?' He asked the now-named conceptual intelligence.
