Synopsis

Sevarian Rafardi was a 17 year old kid who loved Mob simulators, games where he could play as any mob that he wanted. These games helped passed the time whenever he got out of school and would help put his mind at ease.

"Level Up received!" The System Says.

"Yes another level!" Sevarian Says with excitement.

Levels in these mob games were essential for becoming stronger if you wanted to take down adventurer's.

But everything changed when the world suddenly went to shit, something went wrong and caused the gates to trigger.

Gates that would forever change how the world worked, causing people to think differently.

{Hello Sevarian, We've dedicated a gift for you}

Let's start with writing quality, yeah? The author has good command over the language and you can see that in the simplicity of the writing quality. Grammar is good (that's always a plus) with few to no typo. Although I did find the transition from 3rd person pov to 1st a little offsetting but everything good aside that. The actions scenes are, in my opinion, very well written. Story development and world building is great. Some people like the info dumps are the start some don't, personally, I think the info dumps were short enough to hit the sweet spot. Ahhh, the characters (aside from the main character) are very... how do I put it? Plain? They don't feel very real (especially Ashley. Maybe it's really me since I don't like 'damsel in distress' kind of girls.) I like the mc (Servarin or Sevrian or however you call his name TwT!) tho. He's exactly what you would imagine a system novel mc to be like and more. His system is op (not too op to make the story feel bland but not too weak to be a disgrace to the system tag either). All in all, there's nothing to criticize or complain about. It's a light and entertaining read for system lovers such as myself so go ahead and read da book👀

The worldbuilding for this novel is great, the info dumps are kept to a minimum and the story is focused on current events. I'd definitely recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys system novels. The characters are well thought out and have interesting personalities, though the MC does have the stereotypical personality I believe it suits him well. Especially in the situation he gets put in.

Maybe a little bit too fast-paced for my taste, the writing style reminds me of my own but a little bit different but overall It's a pretty good book I got so engrossed that I didn't even notice that I read 30 chaps In one go.

Kotami... author's name is Kota—hmm🤔I see a connection here. Sevarian's way of thinking is very relatable, I liked that. The author spent time writing the world-building so it was so much easier for me to understand. I'm not used to video game books and I usually get ticked off when the game isn't introduced properly but I was easily able to imagine everything that was going on despite the quick pace in events. E.g one minute boring class period, next—first gate appears, monsters everywhere and the hallway a pungent red of dead students. Really nice stuff keep it up, author
