Chapter 53: The Enigmatic Arrival

As the deafening roars of [Bakunawa] echoed through the dungeon, the colossal serpent unleashed a wrathful voice, resounding with ancient power. "Alas, ye gods! I shall vanquish thee when I break free from this wretched seal!"

The teams stood frozen in astonishment, their eyes widened in disbelief. It was an unprecedented sight, for typically only high-level monsters possessed the ability to speak.

Yet here, before their very eyes, a creature of unknown power and boundless rage spoke with an eloquence that echoed through the ages.

****Rumble****

The rumblings of [Bakunawa's] anger reverberated, creating an aura of foreboding that permeated the air, leaving the teams to grapple with the implications of this extraordinary encounter.

In a state of shock, Barnett blurted out in disbelief, "What? It can speak?" The words escaped his lips, his expression a mix of astonishment and confusion. The teams, caught off guard by his exclamation, turned their gaze upon him, their eyes filled with a mixture of incredulity and irritation. Little did they know that Barnett's unintentional outburst would have dire consequences.

Ismund Kudrit, known for his sharp tongue and sarcastic demeanor, couldn't resist the opportunity to mock Barnett. With a smirk on his face, he taunted, "What an idiot! It's truly perilous to have a teammate like that." His words dripped with disdain as he made his mockery evident to all.

The atmosphere became tense, and the teams exchanged uneasy glances, realizing that Barnett's blunder had drawn the attention of the formidable Bakunawa.

*****Husshhh*****

The silence that followed hung heavily in the air, accentuating the gravity of the situation. The serpent's slitted eyes narrowed, fixating on the now-exposed teams. The sudden shift in its gaze, from distant wrath to piercing focus, sent chills down their spines. They realized, with a sinking feeling, that Barnett's inadvertent revelation had led them into a perilous encounter they had hoped to avoid.

With a dismissive tone, the Bakunawa sneered, "Oh, mere ants thou art." Its words resonated with an ancient authority, carrying the weight of eons past.

As it unleashed a surge of power, a formidable aura radiated from its serpentine form, causing young students nearby to abruptly teleport out of the dungeon in sheer terror. The onomatopoeic crackle of energy filled the air, punctuating the serpent's contemptuous words and sending ripples of fear through the remaining teams, who now faced the chilling realization of their insignificance in the presence of this ancient and wrathful being.

"Prepare for battle!" commanded Leo with unwavering resolve. The sound of his voice cut through the air, reaching the ears of the other teams, rallying them to action. In unison, they took their battle stances, bracing themselves for the imminent clash with the fearsome [Bakunawa].

Determination gleamed in their eyes as they prepared to face the ancient serpent.

However, the Bakunawa, its disdain evident, sneered at their defiance. With a mighty stomp of its massive tail upon the water, a shockwave erupted, sending a ferocious torrent surging towards the teams.

**Thud** **Splash**

The splash reverberated through the area as the watery onslaught crashed upon them, drenching their bodies and knocking them off balance. The water itself seemed to possess a skill-like quality, striking with an unexpected force that sent shockwaves of fear through their trembling hearts.

*****Noooooo****

Amidst the chaos, another unfortunate student, overwhelmed by the powerful impact, was whisked away in a teleportation, leaving behind a sense of trepidation among those who remained. The battle scene was now set, a tense atmosphere charged with adrenaline and uncertainty. The teams, though fearful of the water's devastating assault, steadied their resolve, ready to face the ancient adversary before them, for they knew that in the face of such a formidable foe, retreat was not an option.

In the aftermath of the Bakunawa's devastating attack, only a courageous few from the original 4 teams remained standing. Leo, Frostine, Celine, John, Lawrence, Joanne, Barnett, Ismund, Princess Celeste, Erna Straus, Rience Cross, and the skinny yet resilient Axell Zod stood amidst the chaos, their determination unyielding.

Enraged by the rules imposed upon it by the very nature of the dungeon and the unbreakable seal that bound its power, the [Bakunawa's] anger intensified once more.

*****Rooooarrrrr!!!*****

The growls of frustration echoed through the chamber, reverberating with a primal ferocity. It thrashed its immense body, the thunderous sound of scales scraping against stone punctuating its fury.

The serpent's eyes blazed with an otherworldly fire, its wrath directed towards the teams that dared to challenge its dominance.

The realization dawned upon them—this ancient creature's thirst for revenge knew no bounds, as it sought to break free from the shackles that had kept it imprisoned for ages.

With battle cries and determination fueling their every move, the students of Raven unleashed their formidable powers upon the raging [Bakunawa].

Leo, launched the opening salvo, engulfing the serpent in a blaze of searing flames that crackled and roared.

Frostine, followed suit, freezing the air around the creature, creating an icy prison that threatened to immobilize its movements.

**Shooo** **Shoooo** **Shooo**

Celine, unleashed a volley of arrows with precision, each one finding its mark.

***Rattle*** ***Clank***

Axell, the necromancer, summoned the restless souls of fallen warriors, their skeletal forms attacking the [Bakunawa] with ethereal might.

****Bangggg****

Fatty, his massive shield serving as a bulwark, stood strong, enduring the serpent's relentless strikes.

Ismund, combining the powers of wind and earth, conjured a swirling tempest that battered the creature from all directions.

Rience, danced with deadly grace, his thin yet razor-sharp blade slicing through the air, aiming for the serpent's weak spots.

John, chanted sacred incantations, bolstering his comrades with divine blessings while weakening the [Bakunawa] with debilitating curses.

Erna, a valiant knight, engaged the serpent in a fierce duel, her sword clashing with the creature's scales, each clash echoing with a resounding clash of metal.

Princess Celeste, a versatile talent, unleashed a whirlwind of wind, wood, and water magic, her spells combining in a symphony of elemental chaos.

And Lawrence, analyzed the creature's movements, searching for a weakness that could be exploited.

But the [Bakunawa], in its arrogance, scoffed at their efforts, mocking their feeble attempts with a voice filled with scorn. "Impudent ants! Your attacks are futile!" The sounding clash of weapons and the resounding cries of battle filled the dungeon, creating a symphony of chaos.

As the relentless clash continued, their mana reserves dwindled, and exhaustion began to take its toll.

Their attacks had not inflicted any substantial damage upon the indomitable serpent. Despair settled upon the warriors as they realized the immense challenge that lay before them, a dance of hope and desperation, as they searched for a glimmer of weakness within the beast that seemed invincible.

In the depths of their despair, a mysterious figure materialized atop the head of the mighty Bakunawa.

Dressed in a dark tuxedo, he exuded an air of sophistication and danger. With a dragon-patterned cane in his right hand and a gentleman's hat adorning his head, he stood as a formidable presence.

Perched upon his shoulder was an ordinary crow, its wings fluttering in an eerie rhythm. The onomatopoeic silence enveloped the battlefront as the students, a mix of trepidation and intrigue, gazed upon this enigmatic newcomer, their hope rekindling as they wondered if this unexpected person held the key to turning the tide in this seemingly unwinnable battle.
