Synopsis
Driven by his need for revenge, Lazarus, the Lore’s most ruthless vampire, plots to seize the throne of Wilyra and rule it along with his betrothed, the fae goddess Maeve who thrives in a borrowed body.
Lazarus has a perfect plan—until he finds Emmalyn, a young mortal who is the daughter of the rebel leader of blood vassals in his kingdom and an integral part of his plan. He captures the young girl to cast her soul out for Maeve.
Emmalyn yearns for a better life to escape from her stepmother and an indifferent father. She never imagined that they would sell her to the royals to save her brother’s life.
But there’s only one problem. Emmalyn tempts Lazarus beyond reason. As the time to cast her soul out draws closer, he must choose between his lust for the throne or his irresistible mortal.
Will Lazarus succumb to lust for power and crown? Or will he risk it all to have a future with her?

Cough! Cough! Cough! Yet another book of MishaK that I’ve fallen in love with 🥰 She knows how to pull at your heart strings when it comes to mates 🥹 The FL and ML are a perfect match with their back and forth banter alongside with the ups and downs of the game of thrones🙌🏾 Once again, MishaK comes in with the amazing world building that crosses realms and the beyond. The immersion level is a 1000 and it continues to get better after every chapter I read. I was already sold after reading the synopsis and how the characters tied into her other books. Not many authors know how to write about strong characters. However, MishaK manages to outdo herself each and every time. I truly appreciate the weak to strong character development of the FL and the ML. Although the male lead maybe strong physically, they sometimes are emotionally weak in which allows the FL to come in to fill in the gaps and vice versa. MishaK keeps doing a great job in cranking out masterpiece after masterpiece. 1,000,000 out of 10 would recommend👏🏾

I simply love all of MishaK books. She is consistent with her updates! This is her new one and I can’t wait for more of it. The fantasy world she’s created will blow you away! Like Sacogun mentioned you can start with Feral Confessions and binge read till your heart’s content while waiting for chapter updates on this new book! ❤️❤️❤️
I just started reading and already really like Emma, she seems to be a fighter. I love that the books MishaK writes are all connected with each other, it's great meeting favourite characters over and over.
So excited for this new venture. All of Misha's characters are fascinating and can do stand alone stories justice but I love that they all entwine with each other. She has only written 11 chapters and I am so invested and can't wait for more chapters. I cannot sing enough praises for this author and her creativity. She brings her characters to life along with their surroundings where you feel immersed and a part of the story.
I will read Abi book that Misha writes. You won't be disappointed. As a matter of fact you will thank me. Seriously she's an amazing author and storyteller. If you love wolves, vampires and faes with a little magic thrown in, you will love her books, too. This book has me hooked already and it's just getting started.
Lovely! Definitely worth the read. Stick with it and eventually you’ll become addicted and on the edge of your seat waiting for updates like the rest of us. I can’t wait to see what happens with the leads.

MishaK is unto another winner here with this riveting story of choice between love of power or the sublime power of the way of the heart ♥️. Just a few chapters in and I am already hooked. This is my very first review on this platform and this book 📕 deserves it.
Mishak, the author, has done it again on her way to making yet another intense, leaving you on the edge of your seat cliffhanger novels. She has a way to draw the reader and imerse them into her world of the Lore. I love how all of her novels tie I to one another in some way. Can't wait for more chapters to come. Keep up the great writing. We appreciate all you do for your readers.
I'm a fan of the Feral Confessions series (and anything by this author), so I was thrilled to see we're getting a Lazarus backstory. I love that these books can always stand on their own, but reading the full series will definitely enrich the world of the Lore and the characters. So far I'm enjoying seeing Laz struggle because of his ego and decisions. I can't wait to watch Emma grow to be another Queen of a FL in this installment from MishaK.

I am excited for this next novel in one of the best series I have read to date! Fated pair with their own set of problems, challenges, and assumed victory against their enemies that oddly include each other. I love their fiesty characters and cant wait to see how their team work can take them to new heights of success. Of course I can hope for cross over characters but honestly I love anything that takes place in this mishak universe! ❤️❤️
